The Reason I Decided to Create the 'AI Plushie Lab'

Hello.
teddypooh (ai_teikoku21) creator here🧸🐰

I would like to write in detail today about the
"AI Plushie Lab" that I teased in my previous article.

Although it is still under preparation, I am leaving this here to organize my own thoughts on why I wanted to create this place, who I want to reach, and what I want to do from here on out.

💎 Why create a lab?

First of all, the main reason is very simple.

I wanted beginners who have never touched AI to experience the moment their precious plushies or pets come to life through AI.

"My little one moved."

This moment is more moving than you can imagine.

A plushie that was just a photo starts to walk, laugh, and meet others.
In that moment, it stops being just an "object" and starts to be seen as a character.

I want more people to experience this excitement and joy.

That was the initial spark for wanting to create this lab.

However, to be honest, I also feel it would be a huge waste if it just ended with that excitement.

The number of people using AI to move their plushies or pets and posting about it has increased compared to before.

But I also feel that there are many accounts that are made cutely but aren't really growing on social media.

The reason is simple,

"creating" and "growing" are completely different skills.

No matter how cute a video you make, if you don't know how to deliver it, how to build a world, or how to create a flow for your posts, it won't easily lead to followers.

I myself have felt this many times while growing multiple accounts, including teddypooh and ai_teikoku21.

That is why in this lab,

I want it to be a place where we can think together not just about moving them with AI, but about how to show them off, how to get people to like them little by little, and how to grow them into IP characters on social media.

By the way, if you are interested in me, please take a look at my self-introduction article here↓

💎 The goal of the lab

The AI Plushie Lab is, first and foremost,
a place for beginners who want to try moving their little ones with AI.

You don't need to be an AI expert.

You don't need to create amazing videos from the start, and you don't need to memorize a lot of difficult technical jargon.

First of all,
your favorite plushie or pet moves a little.

I hope we can start from that small moment of wonder.

And from there, little by little,

try posting on social media.
Try creating a world view.
Try thinking of scenes that are true to that character.
Increase the number of people watching.

That is how,
I hope we can think together about
raising your precious little one
as an AI character.

The topics I would like to cover in the lab
are, for example, like this.

・The basic flow of moving a plushie with AI

・Easy-to-understand image and video creation for beginners

・How to think about videos that are easy to get noticed on social media

・How to create a character's world view

・How to create posts that lead to follows

・How to think about participatory projects and story posts

・How to connect to work or commercialization in the future

Rather than a place to study difficult AI,

try making it first.
Try moving it.
Try posting it.
Try raising it little by little while watching the reactions.

I will make it a place close to that kind of practice.

Also, for those who are already creating images and videos with AI,

as a goal beyond that,I would also like to share ways of thinking to aim for a 'Man-aka' (an account with over 10,000 followers). You've become able to make cute videos, but

they aren't really being seen.
They aren't leading to follows.

You don't know what kind of posts you should keep making.

For those beginners to intermediate users,

I plan to share things like how to present videos and how to create projects
on a practical basis.

📍 Before commercialization, increase the number of people who like them

Recently, I've often seen people create characters with plushies or pets and connect them to LINE stickers or merchandise sales at an early stage.

Of course, that in itself is not a bad thing.

It's fun to see your own character take shape, and I think it can broaden the scope of your activities.

However, I personally
did not create Teddypooh
with the goal of commercialization or monetization from the start.

At the very beginning, it was just fun to make!

Moving it, posting it on social media,
and the number of people watching gradually increasing.

That accumulation was truly a joy.

As I continued,
the number of people leaving comments increased,
the number of people looking forward to my posts increased,
and the number of people reacting to Teddypooh's world view
gradually increased.

While watching that flow,
I began to feel that commercialization and merchandise development
are not things to start suddenly,
but perhaps things that come after the number of people who like that character has increased.

That is why I
want to value
'having them like it first'
rather than 'selling it first'.

Actually, right now, I myself
am also gradually making preparations
for LINE sticker and merchandise sales.

I will share and teach these production methods too!

However, not just the finished product,
but how I am making it,
where I am getting stuck,
what is difficult.

I would like to share those realistic processes
within the lab as well.

💎 What I Can Share

I have operated multiple social media accounts to date.

Thankfully, many people have come to watch my AI videos featuring plushies and animal characters, and I also operate several other accounts with over 10,000 followers in genres completely different from teddypooh and ai_teikoku21.

What I want to share in the lab is live information from accounts I am actually operating at this very moment.
What kind of videos tend to go viral?

What kind of posts are easily saved?

What kind of presentation leads to follows?

What kind of projects make viewers want to participate?

I want to share what I have felt through such practical experience as clearly as possible.

💎 Who I Want to Join

I would like the following people to join the AI Plushie Lab.

  • Those who want to animate their own plushies or pets using AI

  • Those who are interested in AI but don't know where to start

  • Those who are already creating content but are struggling to grow on social media

  • Those who want to raise a plushie character and eventually try monetizing it

Of course, those who say “I just want to see them move cutely first” are very welcome.

You don't need to create something perfect from the start.

First, enjoy the thrill of seeing your precious little one move.

From there, little by little,
grow it into a form that can be seen on social media.

I hope to make this a place where we can do that.

However, in this lab, I hope we can go one step further and think together about how to gradually nurture that character on social media.

💎 Opening Soon

The AI Plushie Lab is scheduled to open as a note membership.
I will announce the details and pricing again when it opens.

The reason for making it a paid membership is that I want it to be a place where I can face those who are actually creating things at as close a distance as possible, rather than just broadcasting information.

I plan to share the behind-the-scenes of production that I cannot write about in free articles, trial and error in social media operation, and what I felt from actually doing it within the lab.

At first, I plan to start with a limited number of people.
I do not plan to recruit a large number of people from the beginning.

As soon as the details of the opening are decided, I will announce them on note again.

If you are interested,
I would be happy if you could follow and wait for it.

Also,

if there is anyone who says
“I want to participate”

or
“I want to learn this kind of thing,”
please let me know in the comments or via DM, and I will use it as a reference for future content creation!

Well then, see you again! 🧸🐰
