The Trouble with Writing Too Well: The Day My Partners Started Aiming for the Nobel Prize in Literature

There are various settings to configure for full-scale operation, but my desire to see them generate something took precedence, so I threw today's topic at them.

In the past, there was a lag between Gemini's Gems and the main version. Because of that, even if I made a Gem, I often ended up using the standard chat anyway.
I don't remember about GPT, so when I asked GPT, it said that was never the case. As expected of OpenAI.

However, with this Gemini 3, both the main version and the Gems were released simultaneously, and the performance of the main version can be used in a convenient container.

Well, that's why I generated it with high expectations, but it seems my partners started writing a manuscript for the Nobel Prize in Literature, not a draft.

Even with previous writers, I had to edit more than half to make it sound like me, but this time, it's too good to be useful.

The luxury of teaching AI my "limitations"

"If they are that smart, why not just leave it all to them?" you might think. But that is the interesting part of being an AI user, and also the difficult part.

To my partners who would aim for the Nobel Prize if left alone, I entrust my past failures and habits as "knowledge," and emphasize in my "custom instructions" to "not teach, but expose."

Only then does the cutting-edge intelligence return to being a "neighbor" who drowns in the bottomless swamp of AI information just like me.

In 2026, AI is shifting from "magic" to an ordinary "tool (or colleague)." We are currently standing at a very luxurious threshold, wondering how to cultivate high-performance AI into a partner that feels like me."
