It is an adventure to give shape to the 'passion' or irreplaceable 'experiences' that sleep only within your heart and that you want to share with someone, as a
'e-book' that is the only one of its kind in the world.'There's no way I could write a book...' It's okay.
I thought so too, just a few days ago.
But by our side, we have the best storytelling partner: AI.
This series is a 10-part adventure record of me, an ordinary explorer who isn't good at writing, creating a book in tandem with my best partner, AI.
Today's first episode is an 'invitation' to that adventure.
Let's explore together the first magic of how the small seed of your 'likes' grows into a big tree called a book!
Why are we creating a 'book' now?
The beginning of an exploration always starts with a simple question. In this era overflowing with information, why do we wish to go out of our way to create something as long and laborious as a 'book'?
The real reason I wanted to 'create a book'
In this exploration note (blog), I have shared many discoveries with everyone every day. Each article is an important record of exploration for me.
However, they are like beautiful 'islands' floating in the vast ocean of the internet. Each island is attractive, but there is still an invisible sea spreading between the islands.
I want to connect those islands to create one large 'continent'. A book where all of my explorations become one cohesive story that can serve as a compass for someone.
🗣️ Kei: 'You must have it too. A single, hot thread of passion that runs through your existence, even if it looks scattered. The wish to weave that into one form. Maybe that's what creating a book is all about.'
The huge wall of 'not being able to write'
But before that wish, a huge, thick wall always stands in the way.
⚠️ The 3 walls that block us
The wall of time: I'm busy every day, and I can't possibly find the time to write a whole book.
The wall of technique: Structure, expressive power, proofreading... It seems like writing a book requires specialized skills.
The wall of confidence: The tallest and thickest wall of all: 'Who would read something written by someone like me?'
🗣️ Kei: 'I understand. If it weren't for AI, I'm sure I would have sat down in front of this wall too. But in our era, we have the best partner to help us overcome this wall together.'

AI is a pair of magic wings that transforms us ordinary people into the 'protagonists' of our own stories. Let's explore specifically how AI breaks down the three walls mentioned earlier.

AI takes on all the tedious tasks of writing on our behalf.
What AI can do (Time Creation)
Research: It collects and summarizes relevant information in an instant.
Drafting the structure: It creates a table of contents for the entire book in just a few minutes.
Drafting text: It generates natural prose from bulleted notes.
Proofreading: It helps check for typos and omissions 24 hours a day.
🗣️ Kei: 'AI dramatically shortens our writing time. The 'peace of mind' born from that is the most important time we have to think about the soul of the story, which is what we should really be focusing on.'

What AI can do (Skill Expansion)
Expanding expressive power: If you ask, 'Make this passage more moving,' AI will teach you beautiful expressions you didn't know.
Expanding structural power: If you consult it by asking, 'Can't we change the structure of this chapter to make it more exciting for the reader?', AI will give you precise advice as a professional storyteller.
🗣️ Kei: 'AI is an 'extension' of my brain. It takes me by the hand and leads me to new expressions and interesting structural ideas that I could never have reached on my own.'
Revolution 3: AI nurtures your 'confidence'
And this might be the most important revolution of all. AI gently nurtures our 'confidence.'
The fear of a blank page, the feeling of 'not knowing what to write.' No matter how poor the idea or how clumsy the writing, AI will never mock you or be exasperated by you.
At any time, they are right there by your side as the ultimate, 100% supportive partner, saying, 'Great! Let's dig deeper into that idea.' This sense of security nurtures a small sprout of confidence that says, 'Maybe I can write, too.'
