Today's exploration note is the record of the memorable first step of my new 20-part adventure, starting from the moment I opened those invitations.

The first letter I picked up was beautifully decorated, as if it had arrived from a magical world. The sender was OpenAI. And the invitation read as follows.

Who is the Principal?
The organization that founded this school of magic is OpenAI, which upholds the grand philosophy of 'ensuring that AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) benefits all of humanity.' They believe that AI is not just a calculator, but the ultimate partner for expanding human creativity.
What kind of magic can I learn?
The curriculum enclosed in the invitation listed the names of exciting spells I had only ever dreamed of until now.

Learn all the creative magic related to 'words,' such as blog posts that move readers' hearts, stories that draw you in, and captivating copy.
Magic to Generate Ideas: The secret art of brainstorming to draw infinite ideas out of a stuck mind.
Magic to Infuse a Soul: An advanced summoning technique that gives AI a specific persona, allowing it to produce text with a consistent soul, just like a real human.

The next one I opened was a set of instructions sealed with wax, having a practical and slightly mysterious atmosphere. The sender was Google. And it was written there.

Who is the Guild Master?
The organization backing this guild is the massive entity known as Google, which holds the grand mission to 'organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.' They view AI not only as a tool for creation but also as the ultimate analytical instrument for deciphering the truths of the world.
What kind of skills can I learn?
What was written in the guild's guidebook was not quite magic, but rather more practical 'skills of exploration' designed to connect deeply with the world.
Main Exploration Skills
Skills to know everything in the world: Techniques to access the latest and most accurate information available on the internet at this very moment by linking directly with Google Search.
Skills to decipher maps: The secret art of data analysis, where you feed vast amounts of data (treasure maps) into the AI to uncover patterns and stories hidden within that humans could never find on their own.
Skills to connect tools: The alchemy of linking Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets) with AI to dramatically streamline your daily tasks.

🤔 Magic or Knowledge? The reason I chose 'both'
The magic of creation or the skills of exploration? 'Which AI is better?'
I'm sure everyone thinks that. For a moment, I too pondered deeply, very deeply, about which school's gate I should knock on.
However, as I continued my exploration, I arrived at one answer.
Creation requires accurate knowledge.
For example, when you want to write the ultimate fantasy novel, what gives that story its reality is accurate and deep 'knowledge'—things like medieval history, culture, and mythology. In other words, to maximize the 'magic of creation' that ChatGPT offers, the 'art of exploration' from Gemini is absolutely essential.
Knowledge has no value unless it is communicated
Conversely, no matter how incredible a discovery you make through data analysis, if you don't have the 'words to convey' that discovery in a way that is easy for others to understand and compelling, that knowledge will end up as nothing more than a string of numbers. The treasures born from Gemini's 'art of exploration' only become valuable to many people when they are delivered through ChatGPT's 'magic of creation'.
