[Self-Introduction] Isn't it fine to just be a reader? Turning 60 soon, how I enjoy note | Beauty industry behind-the-scenes

✨Thank you for coming by today✨

It's been almost 3 months since I started note,
and I've finally managed to write a self-introduction.

Even though I have so much I want to write,
“How should I write it?” or “Who am I writing as?”
I feel like I’ve been stuck on those questions for a long time.

But recently, I’ve finally come to understand
my ownway of enjoying notethat works for me.

For me, writing on note is part ofbrain trainingSearching for words, organizing my thoughts, and moving my hands—
that in itself is a very precious time.

But what I love even more is
going around reading other notes.

The joy of reading, note is so much fun!

The joy of learning about worlds I didn't know
The discovery that there are many ways to look at a single event,
and the feeling of my thoughts moving forward as I think, “I see it this way.”

I also love the time I spend visiting and reading from my favorite creators.
It’s comforting and a little healing.
Reading articles that appear in my recommendations,
feeling surprised by how much I relate,
or having my heart ache at the same experiences.

I am fully enjoying that kind of time.

Reading note > Writing note

Turning 60 soon,
I have almost no new encounters,
no neighborhood social life,
and no colleagues or school-parent friends.

My daily life is one where I have almost no interaction with anyone outside my family.

That is precisely why I quite like watching from a distance
as others interact within note.
Even though I often can't participate,
I watch while thinking, “That’s nice” or “That’s so warm.”

I believe that is also a way to use note.

I do leave comments, but
I can't write words that convey even half of what I feel.
Even so, I will continue to leave “likes” and comments.
Having new encounters is also a great thing about note.

With that in mind, I will continue myreading-focused note life.

Two full months since I started, and I’ve finally written my self-introduction.

Expanding my world by reading,
and looking at myself by writing.

That said, since I’m here on note,
I do want to keep writing as well.

However, looking back,
I have always had a personality that likes to fly around from place to place.
Honestly, I am not suited for staying in one base and continuing to do one thing.
Perhaps I am just easily bored.

That is why,I cannot decide on a single direction for my writing,
and I also find it difficult to 'provide information that is useful to readers'.

Throughout my life so far, I have worked desperately hard.
I was so absorbed that it was all I could do.
I have no regrets.

Now, I feel like I have moved past burnout syndrome,
and am living out the rest of my life out of inertia.

'As long as today is fun, that's all that matters.'
I have lived my lifewithout knowingthat kind of feeling.
So, I don't really know how to enjoy my days.

Recently, I do travel, but it is gradually becoming a chore...

I like traveling.
I like planning, and I like thinking and acting on the spot.
But once I enjoy it, that's the end of it.
Without looking back, it's more like, 'Where should I go next?'

I have lived my life looking only forward.
Both in my work and in my private life.

In my own way,
no, I think it was a pretty fun life.
But what about now?

I have plenty of time.
However, it's not like there is anything I want to focus on doing.
Perhaps this is the height of lethargy.

Even so, I want to continue note.
If possible, I want to keep writing.
With that feeling, I am writing this now.

Everyday life is overflowing with happiness.

While finding small joys in daily life,
though there may be no consistency,
I will write about my life up until now and my life now.

Honestly, I don't know if it will be useful to anyone.
Even so, if I keep going,
maybe something will come into view.

Sushi restaurant, Kaiseki restaurant, Kaiseki inn, tour conductor, beauty industry; all were customer service jobs.

Lastly, a brief self-introduction.

I started working part-time when I was in high school and have always been in customer service.
After working at a sushi restaurant and as an inn attendant, I spent 35 years in the beauty industry.
After becoming independent, my work focused on behind-the-scenes tasks.
I also have experience as a tour conductor.

I saw four people through their final moments: my father at home, my mother at a facility,
and my father-in-law and mother-in-law at a hospital.
My aunt went from living alone to a service-oriented housing for the elderly, and is currently in a nursing home.

I live with my husband.

...
Now that I've written it down, it has become a self-introduction that looks like a resume, hasn't it?

Basically, I use note for reading, but
from now on, including things from the past,
I think I will write about my family, my work,
and also about beauty.

・The assumption that "I have to post" or "I have to be useful" will gently loosen.
・Even if you only participate in note by reading, you can feel that you have a place here.

Isn't it okay for people to continue using note with this kind of feeling? ♡

Thank you for reading this far.
Please take care of yourself today as well.
Please feel free to drop by again. ✨
