Summary of 2025

Hello

Today is December 31, 2025,
New Year's Eve.
So, I would like to write a summary of 2025 and my outlook for the future.

I did a rough review of this year in the two articles below.

I hope to write in more detail in this article.

A lot of things happened in 2025.
・Moved from Okinawa to Kyoto
・Lived alone for the first time
・Lung transplant surgery
These are the three major events.
As for smaller things:
・First time at Lake Biwa
・First time cheering at Koshien
・First time seeing deer
・The title of being unemployed, etc.

Personally,
I also feel that being able to keep up with note for about a year has been a major change and personal growth for me.

Moving from Okinawa to Kyoto,
and living alone for the first time,
were all for the lung transplant surgery.

It has been over 3 years since I registered as a donor,
and once I got the call that a donor had been found, the days that followed went by surprisingly fast.

I quit my job for the transplant surgery and have been unemployed ever since.
I started note hoping it might help a little bit.
When I first tried it, it didn't go very well,
and my earnings are still zero.
Even so,
the people who read it,
the people who react to it,
the people who follow and comment,
I am able to continue thanks to so many people.
At first, my only goal was to monetize it, but now I'm at the point where it would be nice if it happened someday,
and I've come to enjoy writing and posting articles,
and reading other people's articles.

Next year, 2026,
looks like it will be a year of preparing for a new life.
First, qualifications.
Since I intend to work eventually,
I need qualifications for that.
For now, I want to get Bookkeeping Level 3 and FP Level 3.
If I can go on to get Bookkeeping Level 2 and Medical Office Work certification from there, that would be wonderful.

My goal is to use the qualifications I've earned to work from home.
Although I've become very healthy after the transplant surgery,
I have taken on various new risks.

For example,
I take immunosuppressants to prevent my body from rejecting the organ.
This is what hinders my daily life the most.
I have to take this medicine for the rest of my life.
But in exchange, I have to be careful about infectious diseases.
As I wrote in the article below recently, I was hospitalized with norovirus.
I was told that taking immunosuppressants was one of the factors for this.

Infectious diseases are one thing, but the thing I need to be most careful about is pneumonia.
So,
I want to work from home or as a sole proprietor where I can work at my own pace without having to worry too much about those around me.
That is why I am getting these qualifications.

From here on out,
I want to work a little hard to make my life fun and happy.

Coming from Okinawa to Kyoto, I was very surprised by the differences in culture and customs.
There are things I knew vaguely, and things I realized after actually experiencing them.
Among them, the number one thing I thought was,
that I love Okinawa.
Of course, Kyoto is a nice place.
Even so,
Okinawa, where I was born and raised, is an even better place.
Coming to Kyoto, my love for Okinawa,
my love for my hometown, became apparent and has been growing every day.

I have become more strongly motivated to do something to make Okinawa better in the future.
Even when I was in Okinawa,
I had a desire to do something for my hometown,
but with the appearance of a manga called "Oki-Tura" set in my hometown,
and the fact that my hometown was energized by the anime adaptation of that manga,
I witnessed firsthand that if there is a trigger, you can energize your hometown.
It is a rough dream, but
for the sake of Okinawa,
and to repay the people who supported me, I want to do something for them.

A dream I want to fulfill,
that is,
to "energize my hometown".

I will continue to post freely,
so in 2026 as well,
I look forward to your continued support.
