"I will brew tea for someone like you using this venerable Bunbuku Chagama. Be grateful."
"Old man, that's why I told you you were swindled by the junk dealer. The Bunbuku Chagama is still at Morin-ji Temple."
"You really are a killjoy. I bought it because they said it was the real thing, so it is the real thing. As proof, it boils an infinite amount of hot water."
"You were just adding water to it a moment ago, weren't you?"
"That is because you are impatient. For a patient guest, I brew tea using the blessed hot water that seeps from the kettle."
"In that case, I'll wait too."
"You said just a moment ago that you didn't have the time."
"No, no, in my line of work, having some breathing room is important to get things done quickly."
"What are you talking about? There are no miracles for me to show you."
"Come on, please."
"The kettle-sama will be displeased. It's no good."
On the way home, the writer was laughing.
"He has an answer for everything. But well, listening to tall tales while drinking tea with the old man helps me write good things."
I thought to myself that it was indeed a teakettle that provided an infinite supply of story ideas.
