Recently, I have been thinking about the sun, partly because it is a character used in my own name.

Until then, the answers were always somewhere else.

Famous parent plants.

Overseas evaluations.
Market popularity.
The achievements of those who came before.
There are many things one can use as a reference.

However, original breeding is a little different.

No one has the answer.
Whether that combination is a success or a failure.

Whether it will hold value in the future or not.
At this moment, no one knows.

So in the end,

“Do I think this is good?”
is all that remains.

When growing plants, there are things you can control and things you cannot.

You can choose the parent plants.

You can think about the cross-breeding.
You can prepare the environment.
But you cannot decide what kind of expression will emerge.

Nature has its own domain.

Relationships with people might be somewhat similar.
No matter how sincerely you convey something, you cannot decide how it is received.
The same words can be encouraging at times and not at others.

That does not mean the other person is wrong, nor that you are wrong.
I think that is just how things are.

Why do I find that plant beautiful?
