20th ANNIVERSARY “ONE NIGHT SPACEY SHOW” Shin-DAIGO☆STARDUST
My thoughts on my first DAIGO solo (DAIGO☆STARDUST) show.
Following AKIHIDE-san last month, the venue was Shinagawa Intercity Hall.
【SSS Seat Special Event】
I went straight to the special event upon arriving at the venue. When my turn came and I stood in front of DAIGO-san, as expected, he was in his Judy OnggROCK THE PLANET costume, and I couldn't help but laugh, saying, "Wow, lol, this is crazy, lol, eh? Amazing, lol." Seeing those sequins in person is truly something else.
While saying "Thanks for coming," he said "Spacey Hug" and gave me a hug without question. There was a floor marker, so I was standing in that spot, but he wrapped his arms around my head and waist and pulled me in close, and I almost fell for him. But he's so skilled that it didn't feel forceful at all. A pro at hugging. I was incredibly flustered as he hugged me with my head resting near the Prince's right chest. Hug events are amazing, aren't they?
After being released, I went straight to the
cheki photo session. He spread out that glittery outfit and we took the photo. If it had been the Judy Ongg ROCK THE PLANET costume, I had decided to do the Oshi no Ko pose, but he was closer than I expected, so I couldn't fully raise my hands and ended up doing a half-hearted reverse double peace sign.
【Before the Show】
After the doors opened, I took photos of the many flowers that had arrived, and then headed to the Ohta Isan-nyan booth. The Isan-nyan greeting was just too professional. It was so cute how it just casually took my hand, and my heart was completely stolen. Also, the Ohta Isan commercial and behind-the-scenes footage were playing on the venue screen.
【The Show Begins】
Since this was my first time seeing STARDUST-san, I don't know the song titles, so I don't really know the setlist... so, only the songs I remember. It's very scattered.
The opening movie was an homage to Shin Eva with Mitsuishi-san's voice. The concept this time seems to be that we are being invited from Shinagawa to ROCK THE PLANET.
・ROCK THE PLANET
Of course, this was the first song. He must have been wearing it since the special event. I remembered seeing that unique dance in videos and thinking, "Oh yeah, that's right."
・Queen Stardust
I love the interaction with the guitar. Leda-san was incredibly cool, and I couldn't take my eyes off him.
・MARIA
It's truly cool, and it's an important song and one I love.
・SUPER JOY
・SCAPEGOAT
・SUMMER ROSE
My excitement grew as my favorite songs continued.
・I wanna be your star
The last song of the main set. I love this song too.
【Encore】
・Dolly
He appeared on the 2nd-floor balcony in a bright red outfit. It made me nervous seeing him sitting on the railing while singing in the second half.
And then he and the support members left the stage again. Huh? Did the encore end with just that one song? Should we encore again...? While confused, I just clapped my hands. He had changed costumes after just one song, which was unexpected.
I kept saying that I just wanted to hear Daisy, and if I could hear Daisy, I would have no regrets, and then he appeared in the Daisy costume...!!
・Bluesy Night
He said, "I don't think most people here know this, but it's a song you can groove to!" and played an unknown song that wasn't Daisy. He made an unreasonable request, saying, "I don't think you all know it, but sing along!" But it was indeed easy to groove to with a catchy melody, and everyone was able to sing the chorus.
・Daisy
I'm glad I was able to hear it properly. Now I have no regrets. I learned for the first time that the Daisy costume has a longer back part on the shirt.
The support members changed into this live T-shirt. The Prince was finally in that outfit.
During the MC, he expressed his gratitude to everyone he has been involved with over the past 20 years. From his agency at the time to his seniors, including Himuro-san. And also to those who are no longer in this world.
・Eternal Space Cowboy
Since acrylic stands were released, I thought he would definitely perform this, and it turned out to be the final song. I thought he stumbled on the lyrics right from the start, but then,
the Prince was overcome with emotion and shed tears... Seeing him sing with a furrowed brow, I was reminded once again that he stands on stage carrying so many different feelings.

At the end, the screen descended, and we got an Eva-style next episode preview with Mitsuishi-san's voice again. The next episode will be50-year-old DAIGO☆STARDUST.With that, the show ended.

Yuri-sensei also appeared, and DAIGO☆STARDUST made curry as the Prince of Curry.
He actually cooked it quite thoroughly until the end.
There is no catch-up streaming. There are no sponsors either. (But didn't an Ohta's Isan commercial play in the middle?)
It seems they filmed it with the help of the staff right after filming 10 episodes of the kitchen show. He probably changed his costume during this time.

The usual thing. The Prince is cute because his costume is so tight he can't squat.

Apart from his past costumes, a newgold, sparkly costumealso appeared.
“How is it? Is it cool?” A few people in the audience: “It’s cool.”
“...Is it funny?” The majority of the audience: “It’s funny!!””
“Nobody wears this kind of thing these days, right? Oh, maybethere’s nobody who wants to wear it?”

He said he had 20 of them madebecause it's the 20th anniversary! He threw 20 cute sparkly star-shaped cushions, but he was exhausted by the end. His costume was tight, making it hard to squat, and he was trying his best to throw them so they would reach the back while talking.

That concludes my impressions of my first DAIGO☆STARDUST show. At the beginning, I raised my hand triumphantly when he asked, “Who is here for the first time?” The youngest Stardust-chan had her hand kissed, which was super cute.
Since it's set that DAIGO☆STARDUST and DAIGO are different personas,I'll wait 5 years for STARDUST, so please do a solo under the DAIGO name!!! I want to hear DAIGOLD songs!!!!
