One Year of Continuing note: How 'Mom Entrepreneurship' Filled with Conflict Became My Irreplaceable Place

I am Aya Iijima, continuing to learn and take on challenges with the philosophy of 'May more moms smile.' On note, I share my thoughts on parenting and home-based entrepreneurship, the emotions and realizations that fluctuate within that, and small lessons learned.
Have you ever imagined, 'How will your note change in 30 days?' I started with zero track record, and I will share the real trajectory of how I built a foundation for attracting customers while being anonymous and without a distinct personality. ➡︎ 【Click here for the 30-day real practice record of note operation】
At night, when I take a breath while listening to the sound of my children's breathing.
To you, who opens your computer with your favorite coffee in hand, let me speak to you gently today.
Housework, childcare, and my own business.
Every day passes by in a blur, and there are nights when I end up being too hard on myself, wondering, 'What did I actually accomplish today?'
But it's okay. The very conflict you are feeling right now is the best 'seed' to become someone else's courage.
It has been a year since I started note. If I could talk to the me from a year ago, who was trembling while feeling her way through the dark, there is something I would want to tell her first.
That is, 'note is not just a distribution tool, but it will become the warmest place in the world where you can convey the temperature of your heart and increase your allies.'
Today, I would like to share with all the moms working hard as entrepreneurs the 'strength of writing' that I am convinced of now that a year has passed, while incorporating perspectives from philosophy and behavioral psychology.
Why does reality start to move just by 'writing'? (Psychology of self-consistency)
We play many 'roles' every day.
As a mother, as a wife, and as an entrepreneur.
The more roles we have, the easier it is for our true feelings to get lost.
What is useful here is the resolution of 'cognitive dissonance' and 'self-consistency,' which are also considered important in behavioral psychology.and 'self-consistency'.
Putting the confusion in your head into words and writing it out on note.
This act itself becomes a process of bringing your scattered emotions together and regaining self-trust. What I realized after continuing for a year is that writing is 'time to make up with yourself.'
You don't have to think, 'I shouldn't post unless I'm a sparkling successful person.'
Rather, exposing the conflict of 'things didn't go well today' amidst the ever-changing nature of parenting. That is where humanity resides, and the 'temperature' that touches the reader's heart is born.
The value of 'steady effort' that philosophy teaches us (Perspective of Pragmatism)
When you are in business, you inevitably get impatient, wanting 'results right away!' But in the world of philosophy, there is a concept called 'pragmatism.'
This is the idea that 'truth is determined by whether it is actually useful as a result of taking action.' In other words, the one line of 'practice' you wrote today is worth many times more than the perfect answer you think of in your head.
I want to tell the me from a year ago.
Posting on note is like giving a 'gift' to your future self.
You don't have to try to jump high all at once.
The single seed I planted that day has become a large garden that supports me now, a year later. Even if it doesn't lead directly to sales right away, people who resonate with your way of thinking will gather.
This is the strongest management foundation for individual entrepreneurs like us.
A warm community created by the 'principle of reciprocity'
To everyone who always reads these articles. Do you know how much strength your 'likes' and comments have actually given me?
In psychology, there is a term called the 'principle of reciprocity.'
It is the nature of people to want to return the favor when they receive kindness from someone.
What I value on note is precisely this cycle.
By sharing the failures and lessons I have experienced without hiding them, someone is saved, thinking, 'I'm not the only one.' And then, the voices from those readers saying, 'I resonated with this,' push me forward in return.
Over this past year, I cannot measure how much this warm exchange of energy has transformed my often-lonely remote work into such a rich experience.
Your voices are the best nourishment for me. Thank you all so much, always.
To my self from a year ago, and to you who are looking ahead
If you are currently standing still, thinking, 'I don't know what to write' or 'Is there any value in what I have to share?', please remember this.
Your business and your parenting are beautiful precisely because there is no single right answer.
Every experience you have accumulated so far is like a puzzle piece—an essential material for creating your own unique 'voice'.
The philosopher Aristotle said, 'We are what we repeatedly do.' Weaving words day by day, little by little, without lying to my own heart.
That one year of repetition built the brand that is 'me' today and attracted like-minded companions.
Conclusion: Let's keep 'sowing seeds' together
To the moms working hard at entrepreneurship from home, and to the moms about to take that first step: We are not sparkling wizards. We are human beings living our lives desperately and earnestly every single day.
But that is exactly why there are articles only we can write.
'I fought with my child again today, but I still want to work hard.' 'I feel like I took one step forward, only to take two steps back.'
Let's leave your current situation just as it is on Note. That place will eventually become a warm, cafe-like space where someone can take shelter from the rain.
Let's continue to cherish the warmth of our hearts. Let's keep sowing seeds steadily for our future selves and our families.
I am cheering for your challenges with all my heart! I would be happy if these feelings of mine, as I celebrate my first anniversary, could become a source of strength for someone. If this article touched your heart, please share your thoughts with me. That one word will give me the courage to walk through another year.
So, what kind of step shall we take together tomorrow?
Thank you for reading until the end!
