Home Garden 20260606
The transplanting of the shiso (green perilla) seems to have gone well this time. Maybe it was because the humidity was high due to the cloudy and rainy weather.

Since I started my home garden, I've become much more conscious of the daily weather. It's hot today, so I'll water them three times.
I think I'll pull out the dill (transplant backup) soon and just make it all shiso.

The basil is doing well, but there's some bug eating it. I can't see it, so it might be an armyworm (which only appears at night), as suggested by someone on Threads. I have to check at night.
The dill and rosemary are also doing well.

This is my first time growing herbs, but for a first attempt, and growing them from seeds at that, I think I'm doing pretty well, don't you?

The oregano is also alive and well after the transplant. Please keep it up!
In addition to cabbage white butterflies, recently common grass yellows and pale grass blues have been flying into my garden, the Garden of Words (I hate it). I hate '5 Centimeters per Second' the most.

I've guarded the watercress with insect netting, so I don't think any more eggs will be laid on it, but it seems like larvae that were laid before the net was installed are eating the watercress. They might still be small, as I can't find them.
What, you can't find them? Search with your eyes wide open. You have permission to shoot them on sight! (A standard line).
There are quite a few sparrows in my neighborhood, and although they might be too small to do it now, I'm hoping they'll eat the butterflies once they grow up... Let's get along, little sparrows.
