[Rokurinsha] Tsukemen
#jaguarEats
Tsukemen from Rokurinsha, which I have recorded in various places. There is a legend that when it first opened, the lines were so terrible that it caused too much trouble for local residents and traffic, leading to its closure. I remember being invited by a colleague to wait in line when it first opened. I ate it for dinner today. This is the branch in the Ramen Street underground mall at Tokyo Station. It was full of foreigners.
The noodles are as thick and firm as udon, with a unique flavor and a rich taste. I have no idea what is in the thick, syrupy seafood-based soup, but it feels like it is packed with glutamic acid.
