A Resort-Like Experience in Tokyo: Spa LaQua
I went to Spa LaQua with my bath and drinking buddy this weekend!
I was excited to visit this facility for the first time.
Walking past the Tokyo Dome and stepping inside, a luxurious space like a resort hotel unfolded before me! The entire facility is filled with an extraordinary atmosphere, making it the perfect place to fully refresh.

It seems there was a cosplay event and a concert by a certain idol group at the Dome that day, so Korakuen was bustling from early on.

First, I enjoyed all the different types of baths.
The natural hot spring has a high salt concentration, so it's a bit salty! Be careful not to stay in too long or you might get lightheaded.
There are three types of saunas: a spacious high-temperature sauna with a TV, a dark and quiet Finnish-style sauna that feels like a mountain hut perfect for meditation, and a mist sauna that isn't too hot so you can stay in it for a long time.
You use the thick bath-mat style sauna mats that are piled up at the entrance. The mats were overflowing when I arrived, but by evening they had decreased significantly, showing just how many people were using them.
The main high-temperature sauna has a cold bath and a water fountain nearby, but the distance to the relaxation benches and the open-air bath is a drawback.
The Finnish sauna doesn't have a cold bath, just a shower, but you can go straight outside for fresh air, so I liked that one better.
Once I had tried everything, it was time to eat!
The dining area has such a huge variety, from stylish cafe-like spots to Japanese restaurants with sunken kotatsu seating and Vietnamese restaurants.
You can even take your food to your preferred sofa seat or relaxation space.

Once I was full, next was the Healing Baden (bedrock bath) space.

There are actually five types of bedrock baths!!
It got quite crowded in the afternoon, and some rooms were full, so you have to time your entry. There are relaxation spaces everywhere, so you won't have trouble finding a place to wait.
There are also two types of cool saunas.

Here is one disappointing point.
The sound and vibration of the roller coaster come periodically, so every time I thought, 'Is it an earthquake?!' and got nervous... It didn't bother me much in the baths, but since you're lying still in a quiet room in the bedrock bath area, it was very noticeable, and I couldn't relax 100%...

There were photo spots here and there. I thought, 'I'm walking around with no makeup and messy hair, so I'm not taking any pictures.' But I guess young couples who come here keep themselves well-groomed, so maybe that's why.
Perhaps because it's a slightly pricey luxury space, there were no kids running around screaming, so it was comfortable~ (Children are allowed, but they cannot enter after 6 PM).
Someone brought a child around 4 years old into the sauna, but they were getting dirty looks from those around them, and the child started crying, 'It's hot!!', so they quickly left. I don't think saunas are very suitable for small children anyway.
With that said,
I was able to relax and enjoy myself all day long from morning till night in this spacious and beautiful facility🧖♀️
It's a bit expensive, so it's hard to come often, but it was the perfect facility to enjoy as a treat!
I'm fully refreshed, so I'll do my best at work again!!
