note content blocks

When using note, I frequently encounter articles that I feel I 'do not want to see'.

  • Mass-produced, shallow AI articles

  • Tiresome AI-generated images

  • Commercial products

  • Endlessly written personal thoughts and claims

  • Articles where the same content is posted repeatedly

  • Articles where the title and body do not match and are off-topic from the search intent

I can tolerate just passing by them, but it is a tragedy when they appear in my search results.

Note does have a block function, but it is not what users (at least I) are looking for,
as it does not hide the articles themselves.

There is a browser extension called 'Y!News Excluder'. This is an excellent tool that allows you to enter specific words into a list to hide articles containing those words, and I want to achieve something similar to this.

When I looked for it,I found this Greasemonkey-based user script.
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/572071-note-com-filter

It is very good, but I don't feel like installingGreasemonkey (or is it Violentmonkey or Tampermonkey now?)just for this.

So, I tried porting it as a browser extension so it can be used.

Before hiding

I see articles like this often lately.
Some of the articles in the first row are unnecessary for me.

After hiding

As shown here, you can easily hide articles by opening the modal and entering words.

*Please note that the articles I have chosen to hide are simply ones I personally feel are unnecessary, and I am not making any comments on the content of those articles.

It has become very convenient after creating it.
But I would prefer if it were implemented officially.

It is published here.
