Our home, the living room refugees...
I am Kuromame-shiba, and I heard the term 'living room refugee' for the first time🍀

Living room refugee✨
It seems that spending a long time living in the living room is called being a 'living room refugee'.
I learned this for the first time.
'My room is the living room!'
Mashako-san is the one who passionately talks about the comfort of the living room.
Moreover, she was well-prepared, as she requested Konishi Kinoko-san to handle the cleanup after her passionate talk.
I vow in my heart to 'steal this idea someday' because of how refreshing it was.
If I touch upon the content, the fun will be halved, so please first fly over to 'I, a living room refugee'.
For those who have returned from Mashako-san's article 'I, a living room refugee', welcome!
Our home, the living room refugees✨
In our home, the word privacy does not exist.
We are always gathered in our 'cramped LDK'.
I don't think you can imagine it, so today, while rubbing my sleepy eyes, I drew a floor plan of our home.
Huh? It's cramped even though it's in the countryside! That's correct!
Our home has stripped away privacy to the absolute limit.

📖 The kitchen is the white panda's castle
The kitchen is my wife's territory.
No one is allowed to enter.
When my wife cooks, the three of us, parent and child, face each other and enjoy conversation.
This DK is also where quiz tournaments are held.
Because we are facing each other, when my son's or my drinks are about to run out, they are replenished immediately.
Of course, both my son and I spend our own time facing our PCs, researching things or playing games.
When I wanted to have a conversation that I couldn't say to my wife, I would sometimes chat with my son.

📖 The living room is the panda's exclusive domain
My wife has a monopoly on the TV channel rights in the living room.
No one is allowed to touch the TV remote.
Basically, both my son and I only watch the recordings my wife has carefully selected, so it is my wife who occupies the living room.
I am always exposing my back to my wife, so I cannot let my guard down.

📖 Sleeping in a row
Our family sleeps in a row.
I make it a routine to go to bed at midnight, so I don't know what happens after midnight.
There is a single sliding door between the Japanese-style room and the living room, so if we close it, we might be able to secure some privacy.
(Though we never close it...)

📖 Recent circumstances
Recently, things have changed a little bit.
My son often has web meetings in the loft storage area, but the conversations can be heard clearly.
When I eat too much garlic or need to reflect after upsetting my wife, I sometimes sit in seiza on the balcony under the beautiful night sky.

So far, I haven't had any trouble with our house being small.

Thank you for reading this far.
I will be updating this little by little, so please look forward to it✨
Small but happy, this is our home, Kuromame Shiba🍀
