Down for a reason like that?
I'm a black Mame Shiba, and my bad habit is getting carried away too easily🍀

Missing Ikuko-san✨
In the new fiscal year, my athletic colleague Ikuko-san was transferred.
I'm suffering from a bit of Ikuko-san withdrawal.
We had a sales meeting the other day.
Since the HR manager happened to have been appointed as the new sales manager, there was a detailed explanation from headquarters regarding the reasons for this personnel reshuffle.
(Reason for the personnel transfer)
To balance the male-to-female ratio of sales representatives at the branches!
Black Mame Shiba: Huh?
I couldn't believe my ears.
I'm surprised that personnel transfers are being carried out for such reasons in this genderless era.
(What a terrifyingly misguided reason...)
There is no doubt that this was the result of the HR department responding to feedback they received claiming that the "male-to-female ratio is strange."
(I understand that, but...)
My team had a unique ratio—me (male), Ikuko-san (female), and Fumiko-san (female)—and despite the age gap being like that of a parent and child, we were not losing to the sales teams at other branches (which were all male).
I still haven't come to terms with the transfer.
Getting carried away at a dinner party✨
I'm the type who prefers not to attend company drinking parties as much as possible.
However, I decided to attend because we were having a farewell dinner for Ikuko-san on Friday night.
The dinner was held at a local Chinese restaurant.
When ordering food, I always make it a rule to order the same thing as someone else.
For an indecisive person like me, choosing one item from a menu with 500 options is something I couldn't do even if I worried about it until morning.
I decided to order the same thing as Fumiko-san, a liberal arts-oriented girl.
The name of the dish Fumiko-san ordered had a charming ring to it that I had never heard before.
(Honestly, I might have been getting carried away...)
I was surprised when the food was served in front of me.
(The served dish)
・The portion was insane
・The garlic was insane
・The spiciness was insane
I had forgotten, but Fumiko-san is a big eater.
Lately, I've become unable to eat much, to the point where I can't even finish the same amount of rice as my wife.
Furthermore, I am extremely bad with spicy food.
I find even the mild curry at CoCo Ichibanya to be spicy.
If possible, I wish they would make it as mild as "Star *Curry no Oujisama".
*Excuse me... I got the product name wrong.
↑ That's not a hole...
However, because it was Ikuko-san's farewell party, I had no choice but to do my best and eat.
When I eat spicy food, I feel a pain so intense that I hallucinate that my lips have tripled in size.
Honestly, my stomach was so full I couldn't even drink water, and I finished the meal feeling like I had eaten right up to my throat.
Ikuko-san, please do your best in your new environment.
Down for a reason like that✨
The fun party ended, and I arrived home, but I was beyond full.
White Panda: You, answer me, what did you eat!
Black Mameshiba: I... I'm in pain...
White Panda: You, your suit smells like oil!
Black Mameshiba: I... I'm in pain...
White Panda: You, the smell of garlic is coming from every single hole in your body!
Black Mameshiba: I... I'm in pain...
Perhaps feeling sorry for me in that state, my wife didn't kick me out to the balcony and instead laid out my futon.
Sometimes my wife is kind.
I kept checking note to a minimum and just fell asleep.
My wife might get angry at me, but I'm glad it was the weekend.
The next day, I was a resident of the bathroom from the morning.
By the way, I don't know why, but on the mornings when I become a resident, the digital clock in the bathroom always points to '5:05'.
No matter how you look at it, it's 'SOS'.
The day after eating spicy food, my O-ring feels like it's being struck by intense pain.
Black Mameshiba: My butt hurts...
White Panda: Once you're over 50, you absolutely shouldn't try to compete with young people!
Black Mameshiba: Yeah, I'll give it my all for another half year...
White Panda: You really don't get it, do you!
A new note has been added to my memos.
(My notes)
・If I drink alcohol, I become a newborn calf.
・If I drink too much alcohol, I become a bathroom resident.
・If I eat garlic, I get kicked out to the balcony.
・If I overeat, I become a bathroom resident.
・If I compete with my son, I'll tear my Achilles tendon.
・If I eat spicy food, my O-ring will hurt.
・Nothing good comes from competing with young people.
And so, I spent my Saturday going back and forth between my futon and the bathroom.

Thank you for reading this far.
I will be updating it little by little, so please look forward to it✨
This was Kuromame-shiba, reminding you not to compete with a big-eating girl even if you're feeling confident🍀
