Wow! The rain is amazing!

When we left the school entrance, the rain was pouring down.
The rain was flying sideways in gusts.
We held our umbrellas tightly with both hands and left the elementary school.

Even on a rainy day,
it's fun to walk home with my friend A-chan.

The rain is heavy, isn't it?
Yeah. It feels like our umbrellas are going to fly away.

Through the gap in the umbrella I was using as a shield,
I talked to A-chan with a serious look on my face.

We walked briskly,
and the moment we turned the corner of the woods,
Whoosh!
A strong wind lifted our umbrellas.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! My umbrella! It's going to fly away!
It's, so, strong! The wind is strong! I feel like I'm going to fly!
Hey, if we jump while holding our umbrellas, do you think we could fly?
Yeah! Maybe we could fly!

Along with the roaring sound of the wind,
the sound of rain drumming against our umbrellas.
The umbrellas were yanked upward,
and our arms, faces, and bodies were already soaked.

Hahaha! We're completely drenched!
Ahahaha! Don't we not even need umbrellas anymore?

Umbrellas are useless. So

Let's run!

We ran as if we were rolling along, laughing uncontrollably.

The inside of my rain boots is soaking wet too!
Huh? I can't hear you!

The rain was louder, so I couldn't hear A-chan's voice well.
But
it's fun! It's fun!

We're the only ones walking home in this kind of rain!
There's nobody else around, right!
They said a typhoon is coming!
Is this a typhoon?
It's a typhoon! This is the first time for something like this!
A typhoon, how amazing!

Even when we splashed through the rain,
I didn't care about the splashes anymore.
Even my underwear was covered in rain.


Feeling the rain and wind with my whole body,
enjoying the rain and wind with my whole body.
