If You Don't Want to Fail, Work AI-First

You don't want to fail.
You don't want to take detours, either.
But you don't want to change how you work.

Are you using generative AI by saying, "I'll write it in my notebook first, and then use AI to polish it at the end"? Actually, that is the pattern that wastes the most time.

In conclusion, if you don't want to fail, be AI-first.
Place generative AI at the center from the very beginning and use it as a partner for your thinking. Put it in the design phase, not the final stage. That alone will change your productivity and learning speed.

Many people treat AI as a "polishing tool."
But that is not its essence. Generative AI is a "thinking sounding board." You throw questions at it, organize structures, expand on points, and line up hypotheses at high speed. In other words, start a dialogue from the beginning instead of using a whiteboard.

I personally have reduced the time I spend worrying in front of a blank page when creating plans or proposals. I input the theme and constraints first, have it generate an outline, and then I trim, rearrange, and re-question it. It's not about writing from scratch, but about crossing the zero point in an instant. That is where the value lies.

Another important point is to "decide on one generative AI to place at the center."
Trying this and that isn't bad, but if your axis isn't fixed, your accumulation of prompts and history of dialogues will be fragmented. As a result, you end up starting from zero every time.

The pattern to reproduce in practical work is simple.

0. Prepare voice input (or keyboard)
1. Clearly state the purpose and constraints first
2. Have the generative AI output an outline
3. Trim, add, and re-question from your own perspective
4. Finally, polish it with your own words

Just by fixing this order, the speed of your thinking will stabilize.

Of course, there are points to be careful about.
Do not output AI results as they are. Question the premises, and always verify numbers and facts. And do not use it as a substitute for thinking. You are the one holding the tool.
