Knitted a baggy long cardigan with neps 2

I was thinking about having some fun with buttons and pockets for this long cardigan...

Should I knit them with different yarn? Weave them? Or maybe hand-carved wooden buttons?? I thought about various things, but in the end, I made them out of denim.

I happened to have a pair of jeans with a hole in the knee, so I removed the pockets from those and attached them.

While I was at it, the front tie of the coat was dirty, so I remade that with denim as well.
