Early Summer Handiwork | Lemon Syrup

Good morning. This is Popo🌱

The lemon scones at the cafe I visited during Golden Week were so delicious that my husband took me there again for Mother's Day👨🏻👩🏻👦🏻

On the way home, while I was thinking, "I'd love to eat these at home too," I looked up the recipe and found that lemon syrup seemed easy to make, so I bought some lemons at the supermarket and decided to give it a try.

I used the recipe from "Hokuoh, Kurashi no Doguten" as a reference.

It's delicious over yogurt, and it has become a joy of mine every morning lately☺️

My son also points at the lemons and happily eats them, saying "Yellow!"🍋

Using this lemon syrup, I'm planning to try making lemon scones with my family next time👨🏻👩🏻👦🏻

I'm looking forward to making them.
