Thank you for coming. | 02 (Daily Life) The fine hairs begin to speak
"Thank you for coming."
02 (Daily Life) The fine hairs begin to speak
(At dusk, on the way to the supermarket.)
Two people walking ahead.
They are not holding hands.
They are not even close enough for their shoulders to touch.
Even so,
their strides,
are strangely in sync.
Although there are two people walking,
before any conversation,
the fine hairs on their arms begin to speak.
Every time the wind blows,
the air between their arms,
sways quietly.
Getting closer,
moving away,
and getting closer again.
Did they touch?
Did they not touch?
Surely,
even they themselves do not know.
And, in that moment.
The wind blew.
The fine hairs touched.
Only in that instant,
their hearts forgot their stride.
Just for a fleeting moment.
Even though it was just that,
in that distance of a few millimeters,
more than any words,
a quiet love resided.
Love,
perhaps resides most beautifully,
in the distance before touching,
rather than in the moment of holding hands.
The two walking ahead,
know nothing of this.
I, walking behind,
felt that air of a few centimeters,
looked more like love,
than any "I like you."
A small conversation,
that no one else can see.
Thank you for coming.
Thank you, too, for the scenery of today.
Softly, in words. 5ppa

The sensation of those fine hairs from that day actually remained within me.
This time, I tried giving that memory a form.
Pani and Wani, a cat and a dog.
