[Commemorating 1,000 X Followers] The View I Saw After Continuing Despite Having No Special Talents

On October 20, 2025, I realized that my X followers had exceeded 1,000.

As of 6:00 PM on 10/24/2025

The moment I looked at my phone, I honestly felt relieved, thinking, "I finally made it this far."

Because I had been aiming for this day for so long.

On my phone's lock screen was the vision board I made at the start of the year with the goal of "reaching 1,000 followers."

A part of the vision board

These were days spent looking at it every day and thinking, "I hope I can make it this far."

It wasn't smooth sailing from the start

Actually, before this account, I ran an account that introduced the contents of business books.

But my reading speed was slow.
I quickly felt my limits, thinking, "I can't make another post..."

In fact, even before that, I had tried my hand at YouTube and Instagram.
But none of them lasted long.
I wasn't good at speaking, and
the more I thought, "I have to post every day" or "I have to create 10 images," the more painful it became,
and my heart just couldn't keep up.

Even though I have the desire to share, I can't keep it up.
Every time that happened, I would get depressed, thinking, "I guess I'm just not cut out for this."

Starting on September 24, 2024, I tried posting mainly about "episodes with an unreasonable boss," but I panicked because I felt like I was going to run out of material immediately.

At that time, when I consulted with the online salon I belong to, "Chin-Salo," I received this advice:

"Until you have over 1,000 followers, you should focus entirely on useful posts"

Creating diagrams and starting to post from there is the origin of where I am now.

I had no reaction, and my heart almost broke many times

I am a perfectionist with low self-esteem.
I wanted to be helpful to someone so they wouldn't end up like me, but days went by where I didn't get the reactions I expected.

Moreover, people who started posting after me were quickly surpassing me in followers.

Even though I knew "there's no point in comparing," honestly, there were many days when I felt depressed.

The reason I didn't give up was because of a promise I made to myself to see things through to the end.

The turning point was when I found "my own style"

After much trial and error, I finally found the "style of posting that makes my content grow."

That was the "communication template series."

The number of impressions I had never seen before, and days when the notifications wouldn't stop.
It was the moment I felt relieved, thinking, "I finally got results. Maybe I've found my style."

But then, when I tried applying it to a different theme, it wouldn't grow, and I went back and forth between joy and frustration.

Even so, I continued to post every morning and interact with others.
Even while traveling abroad, I sometimes posted according to Japan Standard Time.
To act on the same timeline as my fellow creators.
(I even woke up at 5:00 AM local time in Taipei)

Just being able to think, "I did what I set out to do today," made my heart feel a little lighter.

What supported me during a time when "work alone wasn't enough"

Actually, the source of my motivation isn't my work.

There was a time when no matter how hard I tried, my heart couldn't keep up.
At those times, what supported me was supporting my favorite K-pop idols and watching soccer matches.

When I look at my favorite idols, I feel like I can tell myself, "I can't let myself be outdone by their hard work."
I naturally get energy just by watching them.

Supporting my favorites isn't for the sake of working hard, but a precious time for "myself to recover."

Watching soccer is the same.

When I watch the players chasing the ball at the stadium and cheer them on out loud, the fog in my head disappears.

Instead of thinking, "I'll try my best again," I can think, "I'll do my best in this very moment."

For me, that was a precious place to reset reality.

The people who supported me

I was able to achieve the goal of "1,000 followers" that I set at the beginning of the year thanks to the people who supported me.

For example, the advice from Haruyuki-san, who became my mentor, was a great support.
I received advice many times when I was about to lose sight of my focus.

And then, just as I was about to lose heart right before reaching 1,000 followers.
A fellow member of my online salon gave me advice on how to use generative AI, saying, "You can expand on your topics or dive deeper into them!"

That one comment sparked new ideas, and I think it's the reason I was able to keep posting without stopping.

For me, "posting" was also a record of my learning.

I started my posting theme by"putting my own anxieties into words and organizing them."The content of my daily posts is actually my own "personal challenge."
While posting about "ways to work without getting tired even if you're introverted,"
there were many times I was also telling it to myself.

By writing, I noticed my habit of blaming myself,
and by outputting through posting, I was able to look forward little by little.

Perhaps posting wasn't so much about "being useful to others" as it was
a time for "rebuilding myself."

And what I think now

Honestly, I thought I had no special talents at all.

The only things I can say with confidence are the Korean I've been studying for over five years and my love for my favorite idol (lol).
But other than that, there were times when work didn't go well, and I lost confidence on X many times.

Even so,the fact that I kept goingis the one thing I can say with pride.

Even if there were no results, even if I felt impatient, even if I felt down.
I just didn't stop taking action.

That's why I want to tell all of you followers who are reading this.

Even if you don't see results, those who keep going will be rewarded.

Finally

I will continue to post with a focus on "ways to work without getting tired even if you're introverted."

But not just that.
Sometimes, I also want to show "the me who cherishes the things I love."

I would be happy if seeing my posts makes you think, "If this kind of adult exists, maybe I'll be okay too."

If you have any questions or thoughts, please feel free to send them via X reply or message. As a fellow person with similar worries, I would be happy if we could change together.
