[3-Minute Essay] You Can Shred Vegetables, But You Can't Make Curry
The mindset is more important than the method.
I tell you this time and time again.
People who aren't getting results in business often rush to find methods.
They don't just neglect the mindset; they don't even look at it.
As a result...
・No matter how many times you try, you don't get results.
・You make excuses, saying this method didn't suit you either.
・You envy successful people and just keep feeling bitter
despite your efforts.
Look...
I know you're putting in the effort.
I believe you're working hard, too.
But that is the typical pattern of someone who doesn't get results.
I started a business in my 20s and subsequently managed several companies.
I have already sold all my companies and businesses, achieving FIRE.
In my sales experience, I became a world-top salesperson in two different industries.
I apologize for saying this myself.
However, whenever I get involved in business, I always manage to get decent results.
Of course, I have failed before as well.
However, compared to most people, that number is likely overwhelmingly small.
On note, I have now been receiving over eight figures annually for three consecutive years.
Video-related ventures like YouTube continue to maintain sales more than three times that of note.
In business, the people who always get results are, to a certain extent, always the same.
And many of them end up achieving results in completely different fields as well.
・Hiroyuki, who created 2channel, went on to create Niconico Douga and more.
・Takafumi Horie, also known as Horiemon, who became famous with Livedoor, is involved in restaurants, the rocket business, and more.
・Masayoshi Son, who shot to fame with the search site Yahoo!, went on to build SoftBank mobile and more.
・Hiroshi Mikitani, who started with the online shopping site Rakuten Ichiba, is involved in various fields like travel, smartphones, insurance, and securities.
・Yusaku Maezawa, who founded ZOZO, is now successful in fields completely different from apparel.
・Susumu Fujita of CyberAgent, who handles Ameba Blog and ABEMA, is now even doing smartphone games like Uma Musume.
The careers of the people mentioned above are just a small fraction of their work.
There are people in this world who haven't achieved a single success.
Despite that, there are quite a few people who achieve success in many businesses.
It is clear that they get results even when the products they handle or the businesses they are involved in change.
It is not the case that the exact same method works in every different field.
In other words, the method changes depending on the work and content involved.
If that is the case, the part that does not change must be the person themselves.
When it comes to the person themselves, it refers to their personality or way of thinking.
However, personality is irrelevant in business.
Because their way of thinking is consistent, they are more likely to succeed.
When you adopt a mindset that leads to business success...
You develop the habit of looking at the goal and working backward, which allows you to notice unnecessary efforts.
Perhaps this might be hard to visualize.
Let me explain using cooking as an example.
Suppose you wanted to make a standard curry.
1. Cut the vegetables and meat into bite-sized pieces and sauté them.
2. Put them in a pot, add water, turn on the heat, and simmer.
3. Dissolve the curry powder at the end.
Broadly speaking, you can make it by completing these three steps.
Learning how to crack an egg is completely meaningless.
It is unnecessary for making curry.
People who jump straight into methods end up looking up how to crack an egg.
They might even spend time trying to crack it cleanly with one hand.
They are probably putting in the effort.
They might be working hard.
But learning only the method of cracking an egg is pointless.
It doesn't bring you a single step closer to the goal of making curry.
Even though you should be sautéing vegetables, you end up learning how to deep-fry.
As for the knife, being able to cut things into bite-sized pieces is more than enough.
When you start with the method, you try to learn various ways of cutting.
Learning how to shred cabbage is pointless.
Depending on the dish, it might be necessary.
But for making curry, it is an entirely useless effort.
I see frying pans that can cook steak perfectly.
Then,I think I should have that too and end up buying it.
It's repetitive, but for making curry, it's completely meaningless.
You end up buying things you don't need.
・Cracking an egg
・Being able to shred
・A frying pan for cooking steak
All of these might be necessary for cooking in general.
But if you only want to make curry, the story changes.
It's just unnecessary effort or wasted money.
No matter how hard you try with these things, the curry won't be finished.
To someone who can make curry, it's a mystery what you're trying to do.
They would probably think, 'Why are you doing this and calling it effort or hard work?'
There are many fakes who talk about monetization on note.
There may be skills that are good to have, butdon't learn useless methods.
On this account, I share the methods I practice for free.
I keep only the most crucial parts exclusive to members, but even then, it's 100 yen per month.
However, the first month is free.
By the way, the price will increase to 200 yen per month once we reach 200 members, so please forgive me for that.
Over 100 people joined within four weeks of opening.
Today marks the start of the second month, and we are up to 163 members.

In the membership, I explain why I use this method, including the mindset needed to earn money in business.😘
You see various articles about monetization, but there must be a reason why so many people have gathered here.
If you're interested, you'll understand if you read yesterday's article.
From my perspective, having already achieved FIRE, I'm not doing this to make a profit.
I just want to increase the number of friends I have and laugh together.
By the way, the membership is named Tarao Girls, but men are also very welcome♡
