What do you think would happen if you tried to do the same thing as the advertiser, even if you're starting after them?

You would become a rival to that advertiser.

It's obvious, but as rivals increase, it becomes harder for that advertiser to make money themselves.

In other words, there is no fool who would pay advertising costs just to increase their own competition.

If it's a franchise ad, it means they want you to run a franchise business.

It's the same with things like reselling; running an ad means it costs money.

It's likely that they can't make much money with that method anymore, so they are trying to make money by teaching it as a last resort.

The real essence of their business is what happens after they teach you how to do it and let you make a little bit of money.

If it were truly profitable, they would definitely keep it quiet and make the money themselves before anyone else noticed.
