It's that game where the winner of rock-paper-scissors pays the entire bill.

Yesterday, four of us guys were drinking since the middle of the day.

One of them was a man who runs a real estate company.

The other three, including myself, are living the FIRE lifestyle.

Through a strange turn of events, a group of three girls we had just met joined us for drinks.

It was unexpectedly lively, and we ended up staying for quite a long time.

When we finally said, 'Shall we head home?', one of the guys spoke up.

'Why don't we guys decide who pays with a round of Manly Rock-Paper-Scissors?'

I thought it was a great suggestion.

We couldn't very well make the girls we just met pay for anything.

On the other hand, having the bill arrive and saying, 'Okay, everyone chip in this much' is...

It's not bad, but it doesn't look very cool, so we agreed to his proposal.

Since it's called Manly Rock-Paper-Scissors, you have to be happy if you win.

Conversely, if you lose, you need to act disappointed, even if it's just for show.

Thankfully, the real estate guy won the rock-paper-scissors match.

Thanks to that, I got a free drink.

After we parted ways and I got home, I found my wallet sitting on the table.

It seems I went out for drinks without even bringing my wallet.

If I had won at that table, I would have been exposed to such incredible shame.

I probably would have ended up having to beg one of the guys to pay for me.

A guy like this is a disgrace to the very concept of manliness.
