[Self-Introduction 1] Complexes might stop being complexes if you talk about them (maybe)
Hello, this is Mizunoi.
The hot days continue, don't they? 💦
Is everyone holding up okay?
This is sudden, but today I'd like to talk about age.
It's something I've kept hidden away.
Actually, I turned 45 the day before yesterday.
(I haven't mentioned my age at all until now, so some of you might be surprised. Haha)
Today, keeping that age in mind, I'd like to talk about my medical history again.
I was diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome at 18.
The first sign was a rash that appeared on my lower legs.
It was neither painful nor itchy; it was just red spots.
Those spots would appear and disappear.
On some days, they would even spread up to my thighs.
"You might have a collagen disease, so you should go get checked at a hospital soon."
Following my father's advice, I went to the hospital, and after several tests, my diagnosis of Sjögren's syndrome was confirmed.
The reason I was able to get a confirmed diagnosis so easily from just the first signs is that my sister, who is two years older than me, had SLE.
At the time, my sister had been told by her doctor to stop studying for her university entrance exams and was hospitalized.
As for my Sjögren's syndrome,
since I only had dry symptoms like a lack of saliva and tears, it was decided that I would have follow-up observations every six months.
And for the skin rash, I was prescribed children's Bufferin.
(Though it didn't really work. Haha)
-----
For now, that's all for today.
Next time, I'd like to talk about the circumstances under which I started taking Prednisone. ^^
Thank you for reading this far.
◇Recent Status◇
Right now, my life is wandering!
I was so bored that I decided to start working.
I'm currently in training and scheduled to start working in September.
It's been about 6 years since my child was born.
I've been holed up at home and haven't interacted much with people, so the outside world after such a long time feels very fresh. ✨
I've been blessed with good people and feel happy every day.
I'll talk about why I disclosed my age later on.
See you again! ^^
