Fifth year of business. Still taking on challenges every day.

Long time no see, this is Toto Kawahori from -Kaninchen-.
Time flies, and it's already been five years since I filed my business registration in 2020.
Can you believe it... (lol)

There are things that haven't changed since five years ago, and there are things that have.
There are parts I wanted to change, and parts that didn't quite change.
That's how it is, but all in all, the reason I've been able to keep going is entirely thanks to my customers.

As I approach my fifth year, I'm thinking of gradually changing -Kaninchen-'s accessories.
I'll tell you, my core fans who even read the creator's notes, in secret.

The accessories I make at -Kaninchen- use vintage German glass produced in the 1960s and 70s.
I have buyers purchase materials that have been sleeping in local warehouses, then I remake them into modern accessories and bring them back to the market.

Vintage glass beads are truly fascinating.
There are even glass beads that have already become lost technology, which would be a waste to call mere imitations of gemstones. A prime example is Givre beads.

I am challenging myself to figure out what I can do to help more people know the value of these vintage glass beads and enjoy them in their daily lives.

And one of those new challenges is 'Limited quantity pre-orders!'
The old me would have thought, 'What if they don't sell out?' or 'I'm worried they won't get ordered, so I'll just make them permanent items,' and worried about all sorts of things (lol).

But somehow, I've already entered my fifth year!!
If I want to properly convey the value of vintage glass, I have to have a certain level of resolve...!! I'm being driven by a passionate feeling for the first time in a while.

It's still at the press release stage, but there are already customers looking forward to the announcement of when sales will begin.
To be able to get a reaction just by putting out a press release... I'm truly grateful, and I'm really happy to feel the growth of the brand -Kaninchen-, and myself as well.

I feel like, 'I'm growing properly! Good job!' and I want to celebrate that with myself (lol).

In addition to these new attempts, I'm moving in various new directions this year. I can feel that the information I gather and the people I work with are changing little by little. While accepting these changes and being helped by those around me, I will give my all to return the favor!
I will keep taking on challenges! 💪🐰✨

I'm going to enjoy myself while putting a moderate amount of pressure on myself every day~ 💜🐇✨

I will continue to post 'I've been doing this lately' whenever I think of it.
I would be happy if my posts reach people who are chasing their dreams or people who are also working hard!
