Rapeseed Blossoms, the Thirteen-Night Moon, and a Cat
If you walk a little way up the hill from my house, fields spread out before you.
The rapeseed blossoms are about sixty percent in bloom right now, and as I looked up at the sky where the spring breeze was gently blowing, the thirteen-night moon was floating there.
Sunday will be the full moon, and it will be Easter Sunday, known as Ostersonntag in German, the day to celebrate the resurrection.

As if to shake off the long, dark winter, children joyfully search the garden for egg-shaped chocolates that their parents woke up early to hide.
Sometimes they miss one, and chocolates are found in the garden long after the season has passed.

On my way back from jogging, I thought I saw a familiar face?!
Before I knew it, it was my own tomcat.
I know he wanders around, but sometimes he comes home smelling like a nice perfume.
He must have a second home.
Perhaps he is being pampered under a different name.
His real name is Davi, which means 'beloved'.
It felt fresh to run into him outside.
It's so cute how his tail stands straight up when I call out to him 💗
I always end up speaking to him in an extra high-pitched, cutesy cat voice, and my children say to me,
You don't talk to us in such a gentle voice”
They tell me.
Back when they were babies, I must have spoken to them in that same voice, but now there are many times when I scold them with a stern tone...
Since there are no toddlers in our house anymore, I exclusively use my cat voice to repeatedly call my fluffy family member's name and keep saying 'you're so cute'.

Walking home
gazing at the rapeseed blossoms
I find myself speaking to you in a yellow-hued voice

Spring haze
Meeting you on the road, whose cat are you?
Wearing a sweet scent, acting as if you don't know me

Tail held high
Heading home, are you?
