For Those Who Find Socializing Exhausting | 3 Things to Make Conversation Easier [Relationships & Worries]
Hello, I'm Momo🍑
Are you good at socializing?🤔
Even though I get complimented on my
conversational skills and how I interact with people more often now...
But the old me
was the type who was super bad at socializing🫠🫠
✔ Getting tired from over-analyzing the atmosphere
✔ Unable to speak my mind because I don't want to be disliked
✔ Having a post-mortem reflection after getting home like, "Was that the wrong way to say that...?"
The reason I went from that to
having zero relationship worries
and being able to be myself
is because I started being conscious of 3 specific things👩🏼🍑
Today, I'm sharing my personal rules so they can reach those of you who,
like the old me, "get exhausted by socializing"🫶
Don't deny
The reason is,
I believe everyone has their own way of thinking.
Even if our opinions don't match,
I basically don't deny them.
"I see🤔 So that's how you think."
I say that, and without denying or even agreeing—this part is important←
I listen to the other person's opinion, but
I don't give empty nods.
However, if I think something is clearly wrong, or
if they make remarks that mock or hurt others,
I'll flat-out deny it, like, "Huh? Isn't that wrong?" lol
I won't force the conversation to continue, and I'll keep my distance.
The moment you deny someone,
it's obvious that the relationship with them will turn sour.
Even if you don't mean it that way,
some people see being denied as being treated like an enemy.
Everyone has their own way of thinking.
Because opinions differ,
it can sometimes broaden your perspective too🫶🌈
Don't deny, just accept.
Just drawing a line with the other person makes things much easier.
Over-reaction
It's second nature to me.
I'm sure you've all noticed by now😂😂
Speaking of me...
🍑Over-reaction
🍑Abusing emojis
🍑Conversing like best friends even when meeting for the first time
You might think I'm calculating, but
this is how I am in daily life too. lol
Son: "Mom, your voice is loud! You scared me!"
Husband: "Is your laugh Toad? 🍄"

This is unconscious, so there's no particular reason for it. lol
But, if the first reaction is over-the-top
It shows I'm really listening
It shows I'm interested in them
I think it helps provide a sense of security.
In text communication,
you can express it with emojis, symbols, and emoticons 🫶🌈
When I'm happy, I want to say "I'm so happy! Thank you!"
with all my might.
If I can empathize, I want to get close and say "I get it!"
Because I feel that way, I end up having an over-the-top reaction.
Because it makes the other person feel secure,
I think they end up talking a lot more too
🫶🍑
Don't try to get along with everyone
Not just on note,
but it's something I'm conscious of in daily life too.
What do you think most worries are about? 🤔
I think it's human relationships.
If you try to get along with everyone,
don't you get reaaaally tired? 🫠
But since becoming an adult,
my relationship worries have disappeared.
That is because
I've become able to choose my own relationships.
Time is limited.
If you increase your happy time, your heart will be fulfilled.
Conversely,
Trying to force yourself to get along with people you don't like
Desperately acting like a good person to be liked
Holding back what you want to say and feeling down when you get home
It just leads to more self-denial.
You get tired because you try to get along with everyone 🫠
Some people you click with, some you don't.
That's just how it is.
I think that's perfectly fine 😚🩷
Summary
3 things I keep in mind when interacting with others.
🌸Don't deny
🌸Over-react
🌸Don't try to be friends with everyone
There is no single right way to interact with people, but
I believe it's okay to choose the way that makes you feel at ease 🌸
Thank you for reading until the end.
See you again (o・・o)/~🍑
