Prompts, Quotes, and Foreshadowing. [Dessert]
Did you enjoy the main story?
Well, for those of you who wanted dessert, or for those who just want to eat dessert, I'm going to write about my thoughts on it.
This time, it turned out to be a greedy set packed with three prompts.
Since the prompts had deadlines, I had no choice but to do it this way😅
However, I believe I was able to take on each prompt thoroughly.
At first, I wanted to write a story with the 'Night Bus' prompt, but while I was writing, the 'Mirror Facing Mirror' prompt came up, and I thought it fit this story, so I incorporated it. Finally, the 'Hazy Moon' prompt came up, and that also fit the story, so I incorporated it, and the story was completed.
Thank you to the prompt creator.
And this time, the male passenger who appeared as a character in the story was modeled after Torakichi-san, who hosts the prompt 'Torakichi's Monthly Note' on note.
The content that the man in the story is talking about is quoted from articles and tweets written by Torakichi-san about true stories with his beloved dog, Coco-chan.
This true story is quite tear-jerking. It makes me cry even more because it overlaps with my own past experience of losing my beloved cat...!(>_<)
Torakichi-san's figure, trying to move forward while facing his farewell to Coco-chan, somehow overlaps with the figure of Ken, the protagonist of the story, so I had him play a role as Ken's guide this time.
I have confirmed with Torakichi-san in advance regarding the use of the quotes.
He hosts a prompt project every month, so if you are interested, please join in. Torakichi-san writes comments on the participating articles, which is also a charm of 'Torakichi's Monthly Note'.
It is recommended for those who are having trouble with themes to write about or those who want to interact with someone by writing on note!( • ̀ω•́ )
And surprisingly, even to myself, I recovered the foreshadowing in this story regarding the poem I wrote previously, 'Dream Reality'.
When I wrote that poem, I never imagined it would be for this story.
As I was writing the story, the protagonist's ending approached, and the image of the dream I saw that day fit perfectly here (the story leading to the ending). Like a puzzle piece falling into place.
I was surprised myself.
I wonder if I had that dream for the sake of this story, and if I wrote down that poem at that time so I wouldn't forget it, to write it in this story. Is this fate? (Exaggerated)
After I finished writing the story, I couldn't help but say to the poem, 'So you were foreshadowing?'
Does that happen? I wonder if this is a common occurrence in creative work?
But I guess people who have been creating for a long time have experienced it, right? (lol)
That being said, this work is quite packed with things😂
I would be happy if you could also take a look at other articles related to this story🍀*゜
Thank you for reading this far.
