An X project that makes authors too happy: 'I want to talk about my favorite character'
Everyone, you have a favorite character in your own work, right!
I certainly do!!!
I really want you to talk about their background, the reasons for their personality, and so on! Feel free to create as many threads as you like, and it's perfectly fine even if you're not following each other!!
#WantToConnectWithNovelists #WantToConnectWithWriters
Yesterday, when I opened X as usual.
Starting with Nobori Koikawa's post,
authors one after another,
were sharing their love for their characters in their own way.
The moment I found such a wonderful scene...
"Oh... I have a favorite character...! I want to write about them🥹"
I felt that kind of genuine "passion."
Wondering if it was okay for me, someone who just started Tales and isn't very used to X, to post...
I poured out all my thoughts about Rei Kirishiro, the protagonist of The Silent Call🥹
Here is the post from that time.
Please let me talk about "Rei Kirishiro," the "clairvoyant" detective who rushes to the cries of souls faster than anyone else🥹
Even though he saves many lives, he leaves himself behind.
He carries deep wounds from a vanished past...
If you'd like, please take a look🥹
With just this text and my self-introduction, I was right at the 140-character limit on X...
But, it wasn't enough space...
There's still so much I want to convey...!
When I reread Koikawa-san's post once more...
"Feel free to create as many threads as you like"it said.
And then...
"That's right, I'll post in the comment section of this post."
I made up my mind and tried writing the rest😊
He is a detective who can sense things with his soul and fight with logic.
He gets to the heart of matters with calm deduction and observation,
and doesn't say much.
But his kindness is subtle and deeply human.
He's someone who is just there when you notice, and he "ends up helping" before he even thinks about "wanting to help."
But he couldn't rely on anyone...
He carried that kind of weakness.
Even so, an encounter with a certain person becomes a small light within him—
I carefully depict such moments within the story.
A quiet, yet deeply forged bond.
Because there was someone he felt he could 'entrust his heart to,' a warm sun gradually begins to shine into his heart.
Deep within his mysterious eyes, a pure sentiment dwells.
Every time I depict him like that, I find my own heart moved...
While writing, I suddenly thought to myself:
'I wish someone like this really existed...'
'I wonder if they could come to me.'
Even though I am the author,
I find myself wanting to know more about him.
That is precisely why... when I wrote about his past,
I felt a sense of heartache and sadness that tightened my own chest.
......In the final episode, while I thought 'I'm glad I could make him happy,' even now that it's finished, I'm suffering from 'Rei withdrawal' 🥹
Strong, kind, and somehow endearing.
I am happy to be able to talk here about Rei Kirishiro, the protagonist of my second work ☺️
When I received a 'like' on this post,
I felt incredibly happy.
As I weave stories, the joy of depicting characters sprouts, and being able to share that...
I am filled with heartfelt gratitude to Nobori Koikawa for creating such a happy and warm place ✨️
I was so overjoyed that,
I wanted to share this experience with everyone who writes stories on note and Tales as well.
Thank you for reading this time as well 😊
