Attempting to put my so-called philosophy into words.

This time, I think I will try to put my so-called "personal philosophy"
into words, just a little bit.

When I took stock of my life
and extracted the core that serves as my passion for living,
it settled on the phrase "living one's individuality."

I've been able to do this for the past few years,
but I wanted to dig a little deeper.
It's not that it doesn't feel right,
but I felt it could be a bit more detailed and nuanced.

I took my various obsessions,
the things I want to protect in life,
what I find beautiful,
what I find ugly,
and other aspects of my values, put them into words from multiple angles,
and when I condensed them, this is what I got.

I've always wondered what philosophy even is,
but for now, this is how I've settled on interpreting it.

A blueprint for how to live,
based on "what I value as I live my life."

Then, these words welled up.

A way of being that resonates with the world as one's true self.

Many people tend to perceive the word "individuality"
as a character or a conspicuous trait.

However, true individuality
is not such a superficial difference,
but living without clouding oneself, in harmony with the natural flow,is, I think,
the form in which a person regains their true individuality.

To be "clouded" means
to deceive oneself and not be one's true self.

It is not a set of values borrowed from somewhere else,
but values that have welled up from within.

Of course, this will probably need to be updated forever,
and I will spend my days feeling and worrying,
wondering whose values these are,
but that, too, is being true to myself.

Not being perfect is also being true to myself.
I suppose it means accepting the best I can do at that moment.

I grow every day,
and I evolve every day.
When I look back, things that were perfect at the time
might look mediocre or wrong when I see them now.

But I accept that,
and think, 'Well, what shall I do now?'
This is how I interpret being true to myself.

Rather than lamenting what I cannot do,
why can't I do it?
Why do I want to do it?
Is it really necessary?
I think facing myself in that way is what it means to be true to myself.

While I was researching,
I came across the word 'Seimei' (pure and clear).

I was surprised to find that this word, which is also in the 24 solar terms,
had a meaning that aligned with my own thoughts.

Seimei is a state where life regains its original order.
Just as cherry blossoms bloom as cherry blossoms and the wind blows as the wind,
people, too, without imitating anyone else,
live the form of their own life just as it is.
That is the 'individuality of Seimei'.

Individuality is not something you create,
but something that naturally appears in the process of returning to your true self,I see it not as a 'personality' built through effort or performance,
but as the structure that appears as it is
when you strip away the unnecessary
and return to your natural state.
That is the unique resonance of that person, and the beauty of their existence.

It also aligns with my values, as I used to say that individuality is not something you put out,
but something that emerges.

And apparently, "clear and bright individuality" is completed through resonance with others.

When you are clear, you can hear the sounds of others as well.
To be in harmony with the world is
neither conforming nor isolating, but resonating as your true self.
In other words, clarity is a state where individuality can engage in dialogue with the world.

I summarized it with such cool-sounding words,
but that's the feeling.

As you align yourself,
you naturally harmonize with the world and those around you,
and everyone exists beautifully.
That's the feeling.
