A charging trip from Kyoto's Arashiyama, traveling through the post towns of the Tokaido road, passing through Shiga Prefecture, and aiming for the Tsubaki Grand Shrine in Mie, famous as the "God of Performing Arts." The trip starts from a yakatabune boat in Arashiyama. After Degawa and Director Kumagai get off the boat, they meet up with guest Ryuichi Kosugi (Black Mayonnaise). Hearing that Kosugi's parents' home is nearby, Degawa talks to Kosugi's mother on the phone, and they head to Kosugi's hometown first on their electric bikes. At a Japanese confectionery shop, Kosugi reunites with a classmate for the first time in about 10 years. They taste the specialty Mugite-mochi.

After that, in the center of Kyoto, they enjoy sukiyaki at a shop Kosugi says he has visited before. After finishing their meal, the three set off and cross the Sanjo Ohashi Bridge onto the Tokaido road. In Shiga's Otsu-juku, Kosugi's battery runs out, and Degawa negotiates for a charge. They are allowed to charge at a private house, and in return, they help pick up children from after-school care. Setting off again, Degawa and the others discover a community FM station in Kusatsu-juku. They appear on a live broadcast. After the appearance, they head to the main store of "Ubagamochi" recommended by a listener. They confirm the secret behind the shape of the Ubagamochi.

As the sun sets, they look for a place to eat in Ishibe-juku, but Kosugi's battery is running low. With no shops found as it is full of cram schools, Kosugi's battery dies. The three eat and charge at a curry shop, then head to Koka City to look for a place to stay tonight. With no lodging decided, Kosugi's battery hits 0% and he gets anxious. The next morning, after parting ways with Kosugi, they meet a ninja in the hotel lobby. Degawa and Director Kumagai, who set off on their electric bikes, discover a law firm in Minakuchi-juku. Degawa apologizes profusely to the pair who were in the office.

They meet up with guest Ano in Tsuchiyama-juku. They set off, but Director Kumagai's battery dies on a mountain road. Even after entering Mie Prefecture, Degawa's battery dies here too, and Ano-chan heads off alone to find a place to charge. They are helped by some Brazilian residents, and after being allowed to charge, the three try their hand at painting work to help out at a sheet metal shop as a thank you. They set off again and arrive at Seki-juku, but here Director Kumagai's battery dies, and Degawa and Ano-chan decide to look for a restaurant where they can eat.

They are allowed to tour a traditional folk house, taste the specialty okowa and soba at a shop they were told about, and with their stomachs and batteries full, the three pass through Kameyama-juku to Shono-juku. Ano-chan, whose baseball sense became a topic of conversation with Degawa, challenges the baseball boys they found on the ground to a match. They set off again, but Director Kumagai's battery dies. As they pass through Ishiyakushi-juku, Degawa's battery also dies, and Ano-chan goes to find a charging spot again. They give an autograph as a thank you for the charge, and Director Kumagai joins them. As the sun sets, they aim for the goal, Tsubaki Grand Shrine!
