Question: What is this about, regarding the meaning of these two pictures?
I thought the composition of the two pictures was similar across the ages.
For that reason alone, I decided to make it a question.☺️
It seems that for the person involved, the higher the degree of 'what is this about', the more it becomes a topic of conversation in the back alleys of Note town.🐟
Answer: Spinning words ~The transition of the times~
Jomon 'hunting' was a prayer to sustain life.
Reading the breath of the forest, listening to the flow of the wind, and surrendering one's whole body to the moment.
It was a dialogue with nature and a harmony of intuition and observation.
In modern times, we no longer chase prey.
However, deep within the act of spinning words, the same 'feeling, choosing, and releasing' rhythm flows.🪘🎵
Spinning words means quietly setting a fabric woven from sensibility and thought onto the loom.
While connecting your heart to a single sentence, it is also weaving a 'fabric of resonance' that echoes with the heart of someone unseen.
In other words, just as
hunting was an act of obtaining 'sustenance for life',
spinning words is an endeavor that creates 'sustenance for the heart'.
Even if the times change, the way people face 'life' is surely the same for both the Jomon hunter and the modern writer.✍️
