Since birth, the children of Neo BLUE have lived
without hiding their 'emotions,' resonating with one another.

But—once upon a time,
when this world was still full of land,
'emotions' were things to be suppressed, crushed,
and hidden from one another.

“Honne and Tatemae”—a dual structure.
“Reading the air”—a web of tension.
“A culture of intuition”—a quiet pressure.

It was as if
everyone lived their lives with a 'lock'
on their own hearts.

Now, at the Neo BLUE maritime academy,
adults from the old 'land generation' sometimes visit.

They are bewildered by the students' frank exchange of hearts.
Bewildered, frightened, and sometimes angry.

That was a
“defensive measure” from the pastthat they had acquired to survive.

If you showed your emotions, you would get hurt.
If you opened your heart, you would be betrayed.
—That was the kind of world it was.

However,
the children of Neo BLUE in this era know.

“If you fear being hurt and do not build a bridge,
your heart will remain isolated forever.”

Bridges can be rebuilt again and again,
even if they are damaged or broken.

The sea washed away everything from the past.
The anger, the sadness, and the loneliness.
But there is something that did not disappear.

That was
the wish to “connect hearts.”

Today, a bridge is built in the sky of Neo BLUE once again.
Countless, small, warm bridges.

Once, we feared being swallowed by the torrent of emotions,
and built bridges of reason high and far away.
And one day, those bridges collapsed without a sound,
leaving only an unspoken silence between hearts.

Even so—
at the bottom of the silence, a small sound was resonating.
It was the sound of one person's “will to understand.”

The “lost bridge” did not simply break.
It is just that we became unable to see it.

To build it again, we needed not a blueprint,
but the courage to tremble together.
