👦 Is humanity still humanity?

Last time
I thought about the Earth. 🌏

One billion years later.
The Earth was there.

So, what about humanity?

I
looked for people of the future.

But,
I was a little hesitant
to call the beings there
humanity.

They have no bodies.
They have no language.
They have no age.
They don't even have the concept of a lifespan.

Only consciousness
is spread somewhere in the universe.

Thinking about it that way, perhaps we today
are just an intermediate stage called "human."

From ape to human.
From human to AI.
From AI to what lies beyond.

AI × Human ── A new "form of eternity" 🤝

Evolution is not
about becoming stronger.
It is about continuing to change form.

──One billion years from now,
the word "humanity"
might be on display in a museum.

"Homo Sapiens"

An intelligent life form that has been active for about 300,000 years.

While reading such an explanatory text,
will the children of the future
smile in wonder?

The 1-billion-year button is
not a button to know the future.

"What is a human?"

It was a button to rethink that question.
