　Duran was once pushed to the brink by depression, even contemplating taking his own life. However, that did not come to pass, and he climbed out of those depths to become a shining star in MLB. Armed with elite sprint speed, he steals bases, hits for solid power, and is a five-tool star who never hesitates to charge for the next base with relentless baserunning.
　In 2024, he had a complete breakout, playing in 160 games with a .285 batting average and 21 home runs, successfully achieving a 20-20 season.
　The following year, 2025, saw his numbers dip overall, but there is no doubt he remained a high-level performer, recording a .256 batting average, 16 home runs, and 24 stolen bases. He continues to shine both offensively and defensively.

About the rating

　Duran is a core player for the Red Sox who plays at a high level in every aspect. His hitting is highly regarded, with both average and power potential.
　Defensively, there are some issues. Despite his speed, he recorded an OAA of -2 and a DRS of +9, showing a decline in defensive range compared to the previous year.

Vs. Lefties G

　He struggles against left-handed pitchers, with an OPS of .600 compared to .852 against right-handers.

Clutch B

　He is excellent with runners in scoring position, boasting an OPS of .878.

Stealing B

　Given his 24 stolen bases, this is set conservatively.

Jarren Duran has truly awakened as a terrifying leadoff hitter. He is a standout player with a high level of all-around ability, possessing the three tools of hitting, fielding, and running. Personally, I feel I was able to create a very flavorful assessment for this version. He is quite a favorite of mine.
