[Mini Travelogue] Colorful Flowers #ShirokumaLiteratureClub
I boarded a train while flower petals were dancing in the wind. This was on the Seaside Train, which runs inside Hitachi Seaside Park. I went to see the nemophila, but since some mountain cherry blossoms were still remaining, the pink petals were swirling around in the strong wind.

Last Sunday, I went to Mito to see the cherry blossoms and said, 'Kairakuen has a lot of leaf-covered cherry trees, but Senba Lake is still at its peak,' yet by Wednesday, I was out viewing nemophila. The seasons have really advanced all at once, haven't they?

Looking at photos of the nemophila fields, I thought they were pretty, but they felt a bit artificial. Like a scene from a sci-fi movie. But seeing them in person, while dreamlike, they were truly natural. A sea of blue. Beautiful. The hills were dyed in blue, and from there, I could also see the Ibaraki coast.

I think many people go to Hitachi Seaside Park by car, but the traffic jams at the parking lots on weekends seem intense. The park opens at 7:00 AM this weekend, so early morning might be the best time to aim for. The nemophila must be beautiful in the early morning.
I took a bus from JR Katsuta Station (where the limited express stops), but I heard that when there is traffic, the bus can have a hard time getting there. It might be a good idea to take the Hitachinaka Seaside Railway from Katsuta to Ajigaura and then catch the free shuttle.
I participated in the Shirokuma Literature Club again this week. Since I experienced the swirling flower petals myself this week, I am participating with an essay this time.
