Autumn of Book Reviews #100DayChallenge
I dropped by a bookstore, wanting to find a book about AI, and browsed the shelves.
I was drawn to the title '100-Day Challenge' and bought it immediately.
I didn't read it all at once, but enjoyed reading it little by little, savoring every bit.
It depicts the process of creating 100 apps in 100 consecutive days with ChatGPT as a partner.
The project itself is interesting, and above all, I thought the author, who was immersed in the 100-day challenge, was amazing.
At first, the reliance on ChatGPT was significant, but as the days went by, that reliance decreased, and I realized it is important to feel that you are the main driver of your own creation.
I also felt that the presence of Mr. Ito was crucial.
He was like a co-runner, providing the author with plenty of opportunities for growth and hints, and I thought they made a great team.
I use ChatGPT myself, but I once tried programming and gave up on it.
I also sometimes take the information ChatGPT outputs at face value.
However, after reading this book, I realized I must not forget that 'I am the one in charge'.
It's about knowing what I want to do when using ChatGPT, and deciding whether or not to use the information it outputs after judging it for myself.
I also felt that persistence is necessary.
I felt that the most important thing was the patience to keep talking with ChatGPT until I was satisfied, or perhaps the ability to sustain curiosity.
I tend to give up easily; if ChatGPT says something I don't understand, I often just give up and start doing something else.
I thought I could learn a thing or two from the author.
Also, the attitude of giving your all to be lazy was wonderful, and I decided to think about separating the important things I should work on from the things I can leave to others or AI.
I felt there is still so much room for me to master ChatGPT.
It was a book that made me want to challenge myself with something new!
Thank you for such a wonderful book!
