[Series: How to Play in the Palm of God's Hand] Part 5 (Final): We Were Playing in the 'Palm of God's Hand' All Along

Hello! This is Orui from Natural Harmony.

Starting with the 'history of labor views,' moving through 'gender roles (survival strategies),' and covering the 'true nature of money and capitalism' in the last installment, this series, which has explored some rather grand themes, finally reaches its conclusion.

Up until now, we have unraveled the social rules (the old OS) that we believed were 'common sense' one by one. I hope that understanding the source of that stifling feeling has helped lighten your heart a little.

In this final installment, I would like to spread my wings of imagination a little to paint a picture of the 'future that comes after capitalism,' and talk about the world of ultimate peace of mind that we will eventually reach.

A 'Future Landscape' where love and gratitude become energy

Please, just for a moment, imagine a story of the future (a world like science fiction or anime).

The Earth after the endless competition of capitalism has come to an end. It is by no means a primitive age that is inconvenient and boring, without electricity or the internet.

What exists there is a beautiful world where natural plants and microorganisms are perfectly fused with advanced technology.
The energy source driving that future city is not oil or uranium, but a world where people's 'love' and 'altruism' are obtained through the fusion of the latest technology, mediated by microorganisms.

When residents care for each other and exchange gratitude with smiles, the city's system links beautifully as if it were 'fermenting,' filling the city with warm light and energy. Conversely, when people feud and bare their egos, the energy immediately weakens, and the city grows dark.

You might think, 'That's just a fantasy from an anime.'

But the soil of natural farming that I face every day, and the network of invisible microorganisms, are exactly what operate on this 'compassion and harmony (fermentation).' Our human social systems, too, should ultimately approach this natural state.

We were just playing in the sand in the 'palm of God's hand'

So, was the history of humanity until now, which has destroyed the environment, fought for money, and competed, an irreparable 'evil' or 'failure'?

I do not think so.

It was a 'growing pain (necessary experience)' that humanity had to go through in order to mature spiritually and know true harmony.
Of course, it is also true that this involved great sacrifice.

Until now, we have been swinging the sword of ego while desperately fighting fear, thinking, 'I must achieve something to survive' or 'I must fight and take it.'

But if you suddenly lift your perspective to the universe (or the great nature), you will notice something.

Even the massive system called capitalism, in which we were desperately struggling, might have been like 'playing in the sand,' where children innocently get covered in mud and play, when viewed from the perspective of the great nature.

We have been on the safe 'palm of God's hand' from the very beginning, and we were simply allowed to 'play (experience)' on this planet called Earth, clumsily but with all our might.

When we realize that ultimate fact, we will be freed from the spell of 'having to become someone special,' and we should be wrapped in a pure joy and peace of mind like that of a child.

A way of life where 'expressing yourself' and 'enlivening others' overlap,
Now that we are at ease in the 'palm of God's hand,' how should we live from here on out?

There is no need to become a superhero and save the world.
Try growing a small tomato in your garden. Be moved by the scent of the soil and the wonder of life. Then, serve the harvested tomato to someone dear to you, and share a laugh together saying, 'This is delicious.'

Simply by doing what you find most enjoyable and comfortable (self-expression), you naturally enrich those around you and make them smile (altruism).
It is neither self-sacrifice nor selfishness. This state, where you and others are in perfect harmony, is the ultimate form of a 'new way of working and living' that is liberated from money and obligation.

The future begins in the 'here and now.'
You do not need to wait for a distant future to create a better one.

Today, try letting go of just a little bit of your 'old assumptions (OS).'
Try stopping meaningless perfectionism.
Try moving your hands and feet not just for money, but for pure joy.

The moment each of us chooses to live our 'everyday life here and now' proactively and comfortably, a new future has already begun.
