25/50 Launched an Instagram!
The day before yesterday, I couldn't fall asleep.
I woke up every two hours.
(Is this practice for night feedings?)
Yesterday, I couldn't fall asleep.
I skimmed through parenting books until about 2 AM.
(Hardly anything stuck in my head)
In the middle of the night like that,
the Instagram idea I had kept on the back burner,
waiting for my heart to lean toward it,
suddenly came pouring out.
I tried creating a profile and everything else
as a draft!
...So, I've started it quietly.
It's one of the things I've wanted to try.
Today,
“Posting 'Poems of the Heart' for parents and children on Instagram”
I've always loved writing poetry.
Previously, I organized a
“Poetry Creation✳︎Exchange Notebook”
It was a wonderful and fun project where three of us on note took turns writing poems based on a theme.
Unfortunately, it seems both of them have quit note... (tears)

For me, poetry is something
that allows me to connect
deeply with my own heart.
Through words,
I want to do something that can heal parents and children
I've been thinking about that for a long time.
Once a child is born, parents
are suddenly called 'Dad' and 'Mom'.
They often put themselves on the back burner,
and 'the child' becomes the top priority.
Even so, it's happiness, and the days with the child are precious.
I think that's true, but
before being 'Dad' and 'Mom',
you are an important 'individual' yourself.
A place where I can remember myself.
A place where I can return to myself.
I want to create such a place.
Whether I can do that with the Instagram I'm launching
is something I won't know until I try,
and it might turn out to be
something completely different in the end, but...
Let's just give it a try!
I did a quick profile setup and
made just the first post.

The first words I posted with a racing heart.
From the second post onwards,
once my child is born,
I plan to continue at a pace
that matches my mood at the time.
Both the illustrations and poems are original♪
Actually, as I face each day
with my child who is about to be born, I intend to gather the emotions that arise and turn them into words.
If that could become a source of relief or healing
for dads, moms, and the adults
surrounding children in the world,
I would be so, so happy.
I wonder how it will turn out.
Nervous and excited♡
Thank you for reading again today.
I will spend each day with care, while staying close to my own heart.
