I love the place called note. I want it to stay that way.
I have been staying in the place called note for a long time.
There are diverse creators here, and their approaches to note and their creative activities vary. There is a foundation that embraces all of that and gently acknowledges one another.
Enable everyone to start creating,
and to keep going.
In the past, I couldn't tell anyone that I was
“creating poetry”or
“deepening my own unique thoughts.”I had no one to share them with.
I thought it was something to be embarrassed about.
However, I discovered the place called note. Everyone is vibrantly expressing themselves just as they wish. The methods of expression are diverse. There is music, art, poetry, novels, and more.
It was a world where I could feel truly at ease.
I felt that I, too, could express myself as I liked.
Since then, I began to write essays and poems here and there. Until now, the destination for my thoughts had been limited to myself, but having a place to leave them and a place where they could reach others was a very happy thing.
The place called note itself was like it was conveying the message to me that
“It is okay for you to be yourself.”
With note, people can focus on what they truly want to convey.
I learned about note's vision for the first time. The place we should aim for. The vision.
I felt that it was actually being embodied. To no small extent, through note, I am continuing to explore“what I truly want to convey.”
The deepest thing, hidden in the depths of my heart.
The very act of carefully finding what I truly want to convey is also“reclaiming myself.”
The starting point of the desire to “convey” is “me.”
However, without a recipient, “conveying” cannot be fulfilled.
In the place called note, there are warm creators who accept my expressions.
When I first started posting, I was alone.
I was happy just to leave behind and release what I “truly wanted to convey.”
But, it reached one person, then another person...
How significant it is to have people who accept it. It turns into the energy that makes me want to continue. Thanks to those who receive it, I can think that I am glad I wrote it and glad I kept going.
What keeps note and me connected is undoubtedly the foundation that note creates and the presence of the creators. Although I am not yet confident in expressing myself in my own way, I hope to be able to post little by little, just as I did before.
Thank you.
I want to share this from a corner of the note town.
During the few days I was taking a break, you were my emotional support.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Megumi Tico-san.
Your work has a color that is uniquely yours.
Don't let yourself be swayed by trivial things like a single article, and don't let that beautiful color become muddied. Don't let its brilliance fade.
There is no one else who would say it so directly. Because you embody it yourself, your words carry incredible weight.
To me, heartbroken as I was, it felt as if a faint ray of hope had shone through, suggesting that perhaps I, too, have a 'color that is uniquely mine.' I want to believe in those words.
Keiko-san.
It is fine to keep challenging yourself to write 'notes that get read' or 'notes that have value,' and it is also fine to stop those challenges.
While cherishing those thoughts, it is also free to tweet your daily thoughts or write about your daily events from time to time.
And it is also free for your way of engaging with note to change as time goes on.
How you engage with it, what you write on note—it is all your own choice.
With that freedom, there can sometimes come responsibility.
It is okay to be free. It is okay to choose for yourself. But consideration is necessary. I truly think so. Knowing that it is okay made my heart feel lighter.
You also left a comment when I tweeted that I was 'taking a break.' You have watched over me warmly since I was pregnant with my first child, and at times you have cheered me on; I cannot thank you enough.
Hiiro-san.
The world that Hiiro-san weaves is a gentle and warm world, and it heals me.
You included the work I wrote in your magazine
'Irreplaceable and Precious Pages.' At this very timing. It felt like a cheer, telling me that it would be okay.
I just had to convey my gratitude.
Aomame Nono-san.
During the period I was taking a break, you left a comment on the work I had written.
When I was feeling ashamed of my own work, the comment you gave me made me cry. It became the catalyst that helped me decide to get back on my feet.
Thank you.

Beji-san.
During my break, you purchased my paid articles. I was encouraged by those happy notifications. I am grateful for the connections I've made precisely because I've continued with note, such as the support I received when I gave birth. Thank you, as always.
Also, during this time, I read many articles by other noters.
They served as an encouragement to me.
I can only think that every noter is wonderful.
So, please, do not belittle or deny yourself.
...And that goes for me, too.
I read this.
I want to continue to cherish this place called note.
I want to keep loving it.
