I feel inexplicably lonely sometimes.
I often think that.

I feel like I've been left all alone in the world.
That's the kind of feeling I get.

Even in moments like that, when I walk outside,
a scent I love suddenly drifts by.

That scent treats everyone equally.
The warmth of a scent. A moment of relief.

It's okay, you're not alone.
It gently snuggles up to me, saying that.

It tells me that the seasons are definitely turning.
