DAY 21 | I never thought I'd hear 'This is fun!' when studying.

Today I helped my nephews with their studies.

My third-grade nephew was working on his summer vacation workbook.

My eighth-grade nephew was reviewing science.

Up until now, studying meant:

Writing things down on paper over and over.

Summarizing textbooks into notebooks.

……

Reluctantly.

I studied that way too.

But,

I don't really remember much of it.

So today,

I tried doing something a little different.

I tried memorizing by playing a video in my head.

'Oh!'

'I get it!'

'That's easy!'

And finally,

'This is fun!'

...

Huh?

Did you

just say it was fun?

While studying?

You had such a difficult look on your face just a moment ago,

and now you're already smiling.

It's only the first day.

So,

I can't say for sure that this method is the best.

But,

'It's fun.'

Just hearing those words,

was enough for today.

In the evening, I took my nephews to the summer festival.

The area in front of the station was packed with people.

It's hot, even though it's evening.

Summer vacation,

it used to have this kind of heat.

Got home before 8 PM.

Went to my home office for the night.

One task is almost finished.

……

Alright.

Just when I thought that,

the next deadline was waiting for me.

Being a CEO is like a game where a new stage appears once you clear the current one.

Well,

I don't hate that either.
