Choco-Neet Weekly Short-Short Note
I have been an unsold chocolate for a long time now.
I've been waiting at the old lady's candy shop.
I have no friends left. They all got sold off quickly.
"Hey kids. Please, I'm begging you. Buy me and eat me. That's the job I was given, you see. In other words, I'm like a NEET. It's sad to stay like this."
Then one day, a little girl who sometimes shows up picked me up. My heart raced.
"Grandma, how much is this?"
"Oh, if you buy something else, I'll give you that as a freebie."
"I don't want that."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm a freebie too, and I don't need another freebie."
The girl is the seventh grandchild of my friend's seven grandchildren.
Every time my friend takes her out, she says,
"This child is the freebie child."
She just can't help but adore her smallest grandchild.
I have to tell my friend off next time.
Tell her that her feelings aren't getting through to her granddaughter.
The girl bought me.
I melted wonderfully in the girl's mouth.
Thinking to myself that I was no longer a Choco-Neet.
