My wife's smile returns to the summer park🌻 - Neighborhood association radio calisthenics and another form of rehabilitation -

Today, I created a poster for the neighborhood association's summer vacation "Children's Radio Calisthenics."

Since I had a little more breathing room, I consulted with my wife over LINE and, with the help of Gemini, completed a bright and fun poster.

This year's radio calisthenics will be held at Akabanedai Park from Tuesday, July 21 to Saturday, August 1.

Elementary school will be on summer vacation soon, too. The cheerful voices of children will return to the park.

My wife loves children.

Every year, at the neighborhood association's radio calisthenics, she has continued to take on the role of stamping exercise cards and handing out participation prizes on the final day.

However, last year, while undergoing treatment for breast cancer, she fell in the bathroom, fractured her thoracic vertebrae, and was hospitalized. She was unable to participate.

A year has passed since then.

This year, although she will be using a cane, she will walk to the park on her own feet and welcome the children once again.

I also have work on weekdays, so I cannot accompany her, but my wife has recovered significantly, and I hope that participating in these radio calisthenics will also serve as rehabilitation for her mind and body.

I plan to participate and support her on Saturdays and Sundays.

The children's smiles, interaction with everyone in the community, and my wife's step-by-step progress seem likely to become precious memories of this summer.
