This user account is a bot operated by Balance3641 (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. The bot is approved and currently active – see the relevant request for approval.

NervousBot currently provides notifications for cross-language article links. By default you will only receive one notification, and only for articles you create. To receive additional notifications you can opt-in to future notifications. Please direct any feedback to the Talk Page, which is monitored by Balance3641.

There are two ways to receive messages from NervousBot.

Articles you create

To be notified whenever an article you have created gains a new cross-language link, add {{bots|allow=NervousBot}} anywhere on your talk page. If you already have a {{bots}} template, add NervousBot to it: {{bots|allow=AnotherBot,NervousBot}}.

Articles you choose

To follow specific articles, whether or not you are the original author, make a subscription list. Create the page by going to the link Special:MyPage/NervousBot subscriptions, or add the template to your user talk page, containing:

}}

Each article must be listed as a wikilink, and the square brackets are required. Articles listed without the square brackets will be ignored.

You can choose to receive notifications to any page under your User namespace, for example Special:MyPage/NervousBot subscriptions, by adding |here=yes to your template.

By default you will receive notifications for articles you are the original author of; if you do not wish to receive these notifications you can disable them with |created=no in the template.

Shutdown

To shutdown the bot, change the text on the page User:NervousBot/shutoff to anything other than running.
