Annual CAT Conference
Join us for a weekend of tours, talks and workshops exploring how we can help tackle the climate and nature crisis.
Explore and exchange new ideas and make new connections with like-minded people. Enjoy thought-provoking talks and build green skills with practical workshops. More details about the programme for the conference will be shared when they become available.
Announcing the conference theme
The 2026 CAT Conference will bring together our passionate network of members to explore what it truly means to build a shared future. This year’s theme “Connection, Courage and Practical Hope” will explore how hands-on action, honest dialogue, and courageous systems thinking can come together to shape the sustainable world we all want to see.
At the conference we’ll be showcasing inspiring examples from across the wider CAT community, reminding us that our movement is comprised of so many passionate projects. From community Zero Carbon Britain initiatives to individual practical building or energy projects, we’ll celebrate how we’re building a future together.
Expect practical sessions designed for the summer months, alongside constructive conversations that connect generations, disciplines, and perspectives.
So, if you are interested in exploring the skills and knowledge needed to take action for a sustainable future, make sure you don’t miss out!
Free Conference Places
We are delighted to be able to offer five free places to this year’s CAT Conference!
These free conference places will prioritise bringing new and underrepresented voices to the conversation, financially enabling those who may otherwise be unable to attend and supporting first-time conference attendees.
If you are interested in applying for one of these free places, please email the CAT team at fundraising@cat.org.uk and you will be notified within a few weeks if you are selected. Within the email, please tell us a bit about your interest in attending the conference while highlighting how your application aligns with the priorities for the bursary.
