I play both with windows and mac, and I really enjoy finding things that can make me believe which os is “better”. By “better”, I mean, good for me, a user.
In windows, when I close an editor, maybe notepad, I get a question:
I think this is where bad things happen.
Most people don’t pay enough attention to the description aria. All they can see is “yes” and “no” thing.
Take a look at Mac.
Save, Don’t Save. Totally clear for me.
And if I am not sure, I can read on about the consequences of each operation.
But, after all, As Allan Cooper said, we should rethink about “Files and Save”(About Face 2, Chapter 13).
