 前言 

为了能让大家了解到社区的最新动态以及 Apache ShardingSphere 的最新技术进展，我们全新开启了 Apache ShardingSphere 月度回顾栏目。我们将在内容中回顾当月的发展事件，涵盖 Apache ShardingSphere 版本更新、项目进展、社区活动、最新客户案例等相关内容，希望大家能对 Apache ShardingSphere 社区以及微信公众号保持持续的关注。

社区进展

1. 新晋海外 Committer

随着 Apache ShardingSphere 社区在海外的影响力逐渐扩大，越来越多的海外用户开始注意并参与到 Apache ShardingSphere 及相关生态的建设中来。其中，一位来自斯里兰卡萨巴拉加穆瓦大学的 ThanoshanMV 同学，在 Google 开源之夏（GSoC）活动上与 Apache ShardingSphere 正式结缘，并凭借在 ShardingSphere SQL 解析文件方面的突出贡献，经 Apache ShardingSphere PMC 的提名与审核，正式成为 Apache ShardingSphere 社区的 Committer。

2. 社区 Active Contributor

12 月，经过 Apache ShardingSphere PMC 的提名与审核，来自社区的两名研发工程师陈硕实（roodkcab）和冯征（znfeng），共同入选成为 Apache ShardingSphere 项目的 Active Contributor。

目前，Apache ShardingSphere 社区已建立起比较完善的贡献者成长机制，在社区 Contributor 与 Committer 之间，面向活跃的 Contributor 新设立了 Active Contributor，用以鼓励社区中活跃的贡献者。

3. SphereEx 中文开源社区正式上线

经过一段时间的筹建，SphereEx 中文社区正式上线。OpenSEC（Open SphereEx Community）是由 SphereEx 公司建立的中文开源社区，旨在帮助中文开发者及使用者交流 Apache ShardingSphere 等开源项目知识，分享有关的活动、技术文章以及相关消息。

产品更新

1. Apache ShardingSphere 5.0.0 GA 版正式发布

从 5.0.0 版本开始，Apache ShardingSphere 正式开启了以可插拔架构为核心的全新阶段，实现了由过去数据分片单一应用场景到现在复杂应用环境下综合数据治理的身份转变与能力提升。在新版本下，Apache ShardingSphere 具备了更多新特性，并拥有了更加成熟的大数据解决方案。

随着本次更新对可插拔架构体系的完善，标志着 Apache ShardingSphere 在分布式数据库生态领域的探索进入到一个全新阶段，详细内容请查看：《官宣！Apache ShardingSphere 5.0.0 正式发布》

社区活动

1. 举办首届线上【Apache ShardingSphere Dev Meetup】

12 月 11 日，面向社区开发者以及开源爱好者的成功举办了首届线上 Apache ShardingSphere Dev Meetup。

本次沙龙集结了 Apache ShardingSphere、Apache SkyWalking、Apache APISIX、openGauss 4 家开源社区的技术大牛到场，围绕『ShardingSphere 5.0 以及开源生态建设』进行了相关分享。

在直播期间共有近万名开发者观看了此次直播，接下来我们将陆续为社区及开发者提供更多技术交流机会，持续完善 Apache ShardingSphere 社区的周边生态。会后回顾👉《Apache ShardingSphere Dev Meetup 活动回顾｜生态与技术的融合》

2. 积极参加各类技术活动

11、12 月期间，除首届线上沙龙之外，Apache ShardingSphere 也一直在参与到各类技术大会以及交流活动中，积极推广 Apache ShardingSphere 的社区理念以及技术影响力。

3. 开启【走进企业】系列活动

2021 年，为进一步了解各家厂商的应用场景与深层次需求，提升企业研发团队在使用 Apache ShardingSphere 的效率，Apache ShardingSphere 社区开启了【走进企业】系列活动。

两个月中，Apache ShardingSphere PMC Chair 张亮、PMC 潘娟分别走进了转转、爱奇艺、Keep、腾讯、搜狐等多家互联网大厂，现场与多位研发人员就不同场景下 Apache ShardingSphere 的特性、问题、解决方案等层面展开了讨论。此次走进企业系列活动，不仅拉近了社区与一线工程师之间的距离，更是为 Apache ShardingSphere 的未来发展收集到了关键信息与应用痛点，这些都将成为指导 Apache ShardingSphere 未来优化方向的重要因素。
